Minnie Ethel Duval Minnie Ethel Duval, 81, of DeKalb, died Monday, May 26. 1986 at the DeKalb County Nursing Home. She was born Aug.

4, 1904 in Rolla, the daughter of Henry and Emily (Green) Dean. She had worked at Brody Brothers Manufacturing Co. in DeKalb. he was a member of the Federated Church, Sycamore, and a charter member of the ILGWU. She is survived by one son, William Wilson, of Westminster, two granddaughters, JoAnne Beckler, of Clare, 111., and Kathie Waldron, of Rockford; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands and one daughter, Barbara Straup. A funeral for family only will be held Wednesday at Quiram-Sycamore Funeral Home, with entombment in the Elmwood Mausoleum. A community memorial service will be held at the Federated Church at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Dr.

Joseph Fraccaro of I JTUVrT Memorial Hospital. He was born on Dec. 8, 1941, in Kewanee. the son of Carl W. and Marie (Cox) Haptonstall.

He married Brenda Riley on Nov. 29, 1969, in Sycamore. He was a supervisor for the Suter Food Co. of Sycamore and had been a Sycamore resident since 1968. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, a son, Jamie, and a daughter, Jeri, all of Lincoln, Wilma Lindsey, of Matherville; Loretta Reynolds, of Monmouth, Sherry Bradshaw, of Rogers and Cheryl Haptonstall, of Sycamore; four brothers, L.

William Haptonstall, of Monmouth, Lee Haptonstall, of Sycamore, Francis Haptonstall of Victoria, and Michael Haptonstall, of Kewanee; and several aunts, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter Jackie. The funeral will be at St. Mary's Church In Sycamore on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.

William Regnier officiating. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery In Visitation will be from 1 to 2 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Quiram Sycamore Funeral Home. Minnie (Bale) Rimsnider. She was retired from the restaurant business, a member of the Sandwich Sportsmans Club, the Fox Valley Older Adults, Sandwich Senior Citizens, the St.

Paul's United Church of Christ of Hinckley and the women's guild of the church. She is survived by two sons, Merlyn (Rogene) Wiley of Somonauk, and Dealas (Connie) Wiley, of Somonauk; one daughter, Leaon Rae Sampson, of Sandwich; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. David (Rosemary) Wiley, of Leland; one brother, Orion Rimsnider, of Hinckley; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1964, one son, David Wiley, and one sister. Services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m.

at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Edward Freese officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hinckley. Visitation will be held at the Burkhart Funeral Home in Sandwich Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Stacks, 53, of Sandwich, died Saturday, May 24, 1986, at her home. She was born April 3, 1933, In New Albany, the daughter of Thomas and Etta (Nowlan) Bedford.

She married Thomas Stacks Oct 5, 1950, in New Albany. She and her husband moved to Sandwich In 1956. She was employed as the night supervisor at C.T.S. Knights in Sandwich for over 20 years. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Sandwich.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas; two daughters, Larry (Sarah) Edwards, of Colia, and Nancy Hayman, of Piano; four sons, Michael (Debbie) Stacks, of Somonauk, Robert (Denise) Stacks, of Piano, 111., Roger Stacks, of Somonauk, and Jeffrey, at home; two brothers, Ray Bedoford, of Millbrook, III, and Bobby Bedford, of New Albany, one sister, Mary Gollick, of Hickory Flats, and 11 grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Somonauk Baptist Temple with the Rev. Bruce Speer officiating. Burial will be at Oak Mound Cemetery in Sandwich.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Somonauk. Eugene C. Stefani Eugene C. Stefani, 75, of DeKalb, died Monday, May 26, 1986 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.

He was born March 12, 1911 in DeKalb, the son of Urban and Ida (Cor-tepassi) Stefani. He married Lavon Rezner on Sept. 1, 1934 in Freeport, 111. He attended Northern Illinois State Teachers College and graduated from the Metropolitan Business College in Aurora. He was employed 26 years at Wurlitzer Com pany, where he retired as "assistant comptroller.

He later was treasurer of the DeKalb Toy Company. He was a member of St. Mary Church, DeKalb, and a life member of the DeKalb Elks Lodge. He was a charter member of the National Accounting Association, Fox Valley chapter. He is survived by his wife, Lavon, of DeKalb; one daughter, Mrs.

Richard (Suzanne) Silverman, of DeKalb; three sons, Reynold J. (Linda), of Everett, Eugene of Des Plaines, and John of Schaumburg, six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Milton (Julia) Hummel, of Brookfield, one brother, Adolph Stefani, of Fort Myers, Fla. and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

The funeral mass will be held at noon Thursday at the St. Mary's Church, DeKalb, with Father William Schwartz officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Ronan-Moore Mortuary DeKalb.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Finch Funeral Home of Mount Morris. Donald J. Corrigan Donald J. Corrigan, 79, of Sycamore, died Sunday, May 25, 1986, at his home.

He was born Feb. 7, 1907, in the son of Michael and Anna (Miller) Corrigan. He married Helen Balchunas in 1937. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sycamore.

He was a member of the Sycamore Elks Lodge No. 1392 for 42 years, was raised in Elburn and attended high school there. He received an accounting degree from DePaul University and was an office manager for the Anaconda Wire and Cable Co. retiring after 24 years of service. He was a Sycamore resident for 46 years.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Bernard (Irene) Chrystal, of Forest Park; two brothers, Harold (Margaret) Corrigan, of Glen Ellyn and William (Mary) Corrigan, of North Aurora; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers, Leroy, of Elburn, and James of North Aurora. A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St.

Mary's Catholic Church in Sycamore, with Fr. William Regnier of-fichting. Burial will be in St. Gall's Cemetery in Elburn. 303 E.

-Agnes Ludwig, 68, of Woodland, formerly of Genoa, died Sunday, May 25, 1986, in Bosco Bell Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born May 20, 1918, in Genoa, the daughter of Ezra and Gertrude (Hammond) Lewis. She married Orville Ludwig in Hampshire in February 1940. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Rebecca Lodge. She is survived by her husband, Orville, of Woodland, two daughters, Mrs.
