Smith of Bryan was hospitalized Saturday night from injuries sustained when he was trampled by a bull at the Hearne Rodeo. Charles A. Langston, an em- i ployee of John Nigliazzo, received painful burns to his body when a tractor caught fire on tho Nigliazzo farm late Wednesday afternoon. (BAB Photo) Goodman Rites Held Thursday Funeral services for Albert Goodman were held in Bryan last Friday at 4 p. m. with the Rev. Morris House and the Rev. Burns Willis, pastor and associate pastor of the First Methodist in Bryan, as the officiating ministers.

Burial followed in the Bryan cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Calvin Pigg, C. E. Gray, Elsey Williams, Fred Jones, Schroeder and Ed Blazek. MR. GOODMAN succumbed in a Hearne hospital Thursday afternoon.

He was born in New Baden but had been a resident of Bryan since 1916. He had been employed at Central Hardware Co. in Bryan since the business was founded in 1938. Mr. Goodman was a Veteran of World War I and a member of First Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of Bryan; a daughter, Mrs. Jack. Glover, of Abilene; five sitters, Mrs. Odel Stone and Mrs. Maggie Griffin of Hearne, Mrs.

Daisy Brown of Rockdale, Mrs. Mary Blue of Independence and Verna Hall of KUlacn; throe brothers, H. Goodman of Waco, Tom and Grover Goodman of Franklin; and thwt grandchildren..
