2-Algona (la.) Upper Des Moinet Tuesday, July 11, 1967 LOCALS MR. AND MRS. Earl Miller went to Lake City, Minn. Sunday and will return home Monday. They will be visiting their son Paul and family. MR. AND MRS. H. W. Miller have had as guests the latter 1 s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Teed, Webster City, and Mr. Teed's sister, Mrs. Helen Tripp, Cherryville, Kans. A NEIGHBORHOOD family picnic was held July 4 at Mr. and Mrs. OrviHe Duncan's. Present were Messrs and Mesdames Ray Gilbert, Gerald Klatt, Robert Darbyshire, Tom Cogdall, Elmer Cook, James Lowman, Irving Miller and Charles Bird. MRS. FRANCES MOE had as weekend guests her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Crutcher and Steve, Bloomington, HI. MRS. NANCY MORRALL had as July 4 guests her grandson, Tim Morrall, Armstrong. She has as weekend guests her grandson, Robert LeVier and family, Iowa City, and Sunday had as additional dinner guests her son, Bernard Morrall and family, Armstrong. MRS. EMIL LARSON, Swea City, and Mrs. Maude Jungeberg, Kissimrner, Fla., formerly of the Swea City and Armstrong areas, visited Mrs. Vera Wohler at the Good Samaritan Home Friday. MRS. ALICE WILKINS and Mrs. Twilla Bartholomew have been at Brainerd, Minn., spending several days with their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Crawford, at their summer cottage. MRS. LOUISE MURPHY was taken to St. Ann hospital Thursday. She has not been in good health for a while. She is a sister of Mrs. Ralph Valentine, MR. AND MRS. Adrian Sterling became great-grandparents for a second time when a son, Jason Bradley, was recently born to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reavis. The infant weighed 3 Ibs., 7 oz., and was in an incubator for a time. The mother is the former Diane Frank!. MRS. ALVIN McMURRAY had as dinner guests Sunday her son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Smith, Bode. MR. AND MRS. Art Leek and Mrs. Gertrude Faulstich returned Wednesday after spending a few days in Minneapolis. MR. AND MRS. Alvin Kramer and family spent July 4th with Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Johnson, parents of Mrs. Kramer. MR. AND MRS. Ollie Nasby went to Jackson, Minn. July 4th and spent a few hours with their son, John, and Mrs. Nasty's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Nyborg. MRS.
