He is survived by his mother Wanda Richards, his Father David Baird, His Step-Father Darrell Jared "OpPp" Michael Baird, 31, of Mesa, AZ. passed away on June 8th Richards, and his two his Brothers Aaron Joseph Baird and Jon Oliver Baird.

He was preceded in death By his brothers David E. and Robert (Bobby) Sean Baird. Jared graduate from Mesa High. He loved scouting and earned his Eagle Scout and Silver and Bronze Jared was currently a student at a University of Phoenix, studying Business. Jared has been employed by Fry's Food and Drug for more, than 16 yrs.

He loved being out in the mountains. He loved taking pictures of the moon and the night sky. He was a very happy person that loves to have fun. You would never know what to expect, he was always full of surprises. Jared has a passion for Electronic gadgets and loved to share his learning with others.

Jared was a very kind person and was always trying to do something for his many friends. Jared had a passion for trains and being around the tracks this was where he would go to reflect and find his peace. The trains and the tracks were a sanctuary for him. We love you Son, Brother and Friend you will be missed. Pauline Tempe Bolton, 97, of the East Valley, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2008 and began a new journey with the Lord. She traveled the world during her life, managing her home and family on multiple continents. Pauline will be remembered for her feisty personality and remarkable remarkable cooking skills. She touched on the lives of Dignity her family from generation to generation and personally helped to raise every member of her family. TWITTY, William M. VAN LEEUWEN, Path WASHINGTON, Booker T. Jr. Claude Coupaud, 73 of Goodyear, died Thursday, June was born March 15, 1935 in Port au Prince, Haiti, grew up primarily in France. He moved to the United States in 1945 and became a naturalized citizen after he turned 18.

Claude studied music for many years 12, 2008. Claude and worked as a professional opera singer while living HERITAGE in Chicago, IL.He moved to Arizona in 1969 and worked primarily in sales thereafter. He owned and operated his own business, Ace Janitor Supply, in Prescott, from 1976-1987. in his later years, Claude repaired electronics as a hobby. Claude is the son of Paul Coupaud and Renee (Cloucher) Coupaud, both deceased, and is the youngest of their nine children.

His wife Norma, with whom he recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary, survives him. He's also survived by his daughter Denise Hayes (husband Patrick) and grandsons Jeremy, Michael and Zachary, of son Paul Coupaud (wife Nicholle) and granddaughters Kelly, Bethany and Taylir, of Surprise, daughter Rachelle Fernandez and granddaughter Madison, of Prescott Valley, son Eric Coupaud (wife Amy) and granddaughters Abbie, Kelsey and Megan, of Anthem, son Lance Coupaud (wife Jamie) and grandson Benjamin, of Denton, and son Corey Coupaud, of Goodyear, AZ. He's also survived by his sister Anne Marie Smith and her family in Miami, and his halfbrother Roger Louis-Charles and his family in Chicago, IL. His ten grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, will most certainly miss the dollars that Papa Shu-Shu would regularly hand out to them. Claude and his family would like to thank Dr.

Lamar Wall and the other dedicated and caring doctors, nurses and staff at Del E. Webb Memorial Hospital who provided outstanding care for him in his final days, as well as the many friends that came to visit and brighten his days while in the hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Gladys McFate; and her brothers Yale McFate and Bruce McFate. Don was born in Altoona, February 17, 1960. Mary Springer Gassman, 96, of Peoria, AZ, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. She was born in Hoisington, KS on March HERITAGE 25, 1912 and spent most of her childhood in Jetmore, KS, graduating in the Jetmore HS class of 1930. She married Jesse Lee Gassman in 1940. During WWII, Jesse and Mary traveled extensively with his job for the U.S. Geological Survey.

They later settled in Santa Fe, NM, where they raised their family. After she was widowed, Mary moved to Colorado, Texas, and Arizona to be closer to family. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse, her sisters Grace Crouse and Gladys Crouse, her brother, Bernard Springer, and two of her grandchildren, Nathan and Vanessa Gassman. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Lee Gassman (Eveline) and Larry Dean Gassman (Jeanne) and by her grandchildren, Genevieve and Gregory Gassman. Our beloved Jody passed away of natural causes. She was an environmentalist, a political activist, a master Gardener, and an animal lover. In her 30's she lived in Alaska where she built her own house in the wilderness and was a dog sled racer. She was loved by many and respected by all. Kurtzman, affectionately called "Mike" by family and friends alike, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008.

His journey through life started on December 13, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio where he was born to Elroy Kurtzman and Juanita (Sayre). His family relocated to California in 1944. He finished his schooling and proceeded to attend classes for advanced auto mechanics at the Ford Company. It was in Los Angeles that he met and married his wife of 57 years, Delores "Dee" (Meadows). He became interested in medical electronics and attended various electronics schools.

After working in the field for several years he decided to form his own business, Scientific Instrument Service. He moved family and business to Arizona in 1966 and formed Med-A Lab. He taught his sons and several young men the trade and was very proud of his and their work. He retired in 2003 for health reasons. He is preceded in death by his brother, Larry and son Michael.

Survivors include his wife, children, Bonnie (Dennis) Levine, Gary (Valerie), grandchildren, Brian, Dennis, Bradley, Benjamin, Amber, Ryan, Kim, Brittany, Colby and 9 greatgrandchildren. She was born in Parma, Ohio on August 18, 1923 and was the oldest of five children. She is survived by her husband Vince, daughters Judy and Jeri, her brother Rosalie Kyfes June 7, 2008 in Bill, 9 grandchildren and 17 great- -grandchildren. Dignity Mickey's interests and accomplishments were myriad. She was a world traveller well up into her late 70's, and loved exotic animals and African art. In her time, she was a member of Sweet Adelines, a great blackjack player, a multi-million dollar real estate agent, championship bridge player, accomplished artist, co-founder of the family business, a member of the professional Cleveland women.s bowling league, and one of the longest-running contestants on the game show An avid gardener, her zucchini bread was famous and her dill pickles the stuff of legend.

A life-long fan of the Cleveland Browns, she became an ardent supporter of the Suns and Diamondbacks. She was a great dancer with a contagiously effusive love of life that would light up any room. Lucky in any chosen pursuit, every St. Patrick's Day had her wearing something green, with her "Kiss me, I'm Irish" button a perennial favorite. James Henry "Jack" Martin, 88, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on June 12, 2008. Jack was born in Fort Worth, on July 23, 1919..

Although an Arizona resident for over 43 years, Jack remained a Texan at heart always having a joke and a story for any willing listener. He was a generous, kind and loving husband, father, grandfa- MESSINGER ther and great grandfather. His full life was dedicated to the service of his country, community, family and to the Lord. He served in the Navy during WWII. He was Reserve Captain of the Fort Worth Police Department and Vice President of the Utah Home Fire Insurance Company.

He was a Master Mason and Shriner for 53 years. He was East Scottsdale Little League coach and President. He served terms as Deacon and Elder in the Valley Presbyterian Church as well as Ushering for years. His zest for life included being a pilot, a love of trains, boats, fishing and bird hunting. He was also an avid shooter and gun collector.

Jack is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patsy; his sons Jim, Donald, Kelly and Patrick; daughters Linda and Judy; grandchildren and great grandchildren. During WWII, Iris served her country as a Wave with the Navy and worked many years as a bookkeeper. She loved golf and sang in the choir at Our Savior's Lutheran Church for 30 years. She had been a Phoenix resident from 1972 until 2005 when she moved to New Mexico to be near her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of forty years, Jim McCoy. She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Stout of Glencoe, New Mexico and Sharon Amundson of Apple Valley, Minnesota, spouses Lester and Wally and three grandsons.

Helen Proferes, 88, of Mesa, AZ passed away on June 11, 2008. Helen was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She resided in New York and Florida before moving to Arizona three years ago. Michigan Ave. Ste. Chicago, IL 60601 to celebrate Rosemary's life visit www.mem.com Nicholas Daniel Tomaso, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died Tuesday, June 10, after a long illness. He was 90. Nick, as he was known to all, was born on April 28, 1918, in Chicago, Illinois.

A proud veteran of World War Il, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard because it had the shortest recruitment line after Pearl Harbor. MESSINGER He served bravely as a gunner's mate aboard the U.S.S. Peterson, a destroyer escort that survived a hurricane at sea, sank a German U-boat and otherwise distinguished itself in battle. In 1961, he and his young family migrated from Chicago to Scottsdale, where he fell in love with the desert and spent the rest of his life.

For 17 years, until his retirement in 1987, he was director of landscaping at Marriott's Camelback Inn, tending masterfully to the resort's spectacular grounds and flower beds. Nick loved golf, the Phoenix Suns, the Chicago Bears, the Cubs, Dean Martin, his wife Yolanda's cooking, andmore than anything his family. In addition to Yolanda, his wife of 60 years, he is survived by two children, Bruce Tomaso and Claudine Hart; a son-in-law, Steve Hart; a daughter-in-law, Patty Nolan; and five grandchildren: Nicholas Hart, Steven Hart, Ashley Hart, Matthew Hart, and Zachary Tomaso. His family wishes to thank the friends and relatives who supported Nick during his difficult final months, especially Kathy Kovarovic, a caring and skilled registered nurse with Hospice of the Valley, and Delia Boici, the devoted owner of Chaparral Home Care. Tura "Jimmy" 80, of Peoria, formerly of Warren Ohio, took the hand of his grandson Jacob D. Tura to meet our Lord on June 9, 2008. A WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served on the U.S.S. Prince William Aircraft Carrier and brought the boys home from Okinawa.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Jacob Tura and 5 sisters Josephine Chiarella, Concetta Mastromatteo, Rachel Hackett, Mary Ball and Edith Owens. Brother Natale Tura. "Jimmy" enjoyed fishing, bowling, dancing, baseball and was a Little League coach for 9 years.

He retired from Packard Electric, GM on January 31, 1990 after 22 years. He was also employed by Mullins Mfg, City of Warren Water Filtration Plant and Van Huffel Tube. A memorial service will be held July 1st 2008 at at Best Funeral Services, 9380 W. Peoria, Ave. Peoria, AZ 85345.

(retired), Chandler, 2008, due to complications related to age. Born in Lampasas, TX in 1919, he would have turned 89 on August 1. Dad, Grandpa, "Poppie" was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Maxine Hendry Twitty of Wellsville, UT; his parents, Reverend Richard Bryant and Mary Mabel Twitty; and his brother Richard. Bill received a B.S. in business at Trinity University and attended the Uni- 14, 2008 B7 Twitty, U.S.

Army AZ, died June 10, versity of Texas School of Law before entering military service. Bill and Maxine met in Logan, Utah while Bill was teaching ROTC at Utah State University. A career U.S. Army officer for 25 years (Quartermaster Corps), he was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He and his family lived throughout the U.S., and in Okinawa and Venezuela.

After retiring from active military duty, he worked as Director of Food Services for the Las Cruces, New Mexico Public Schools for 17 years. Bill joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1971; their family was sealed together for eternity in the Provo Utah Temple. Later, he and Maxine moved to Mesa, then Chandler, AZ where they volunteered in the Mesa Temple for 20 years until Maxine's death in April 2005. A great source of joy for Bill was serving as a sealer in the Mesa Arizona Temple for 19 years. Bill is survived by his children, Mike Twitty (Barbara), St.

George, UT; Nanci Wudel (John), Mesa, AZ; and Becky Woods (Tom), Chandler, AZ. He took great pride in his grandchildren and their spouses: Brandon Woods (Nanouka); Blake Woods; Tricia Wudel Baird (Bret); Robyn Wudel Rickeberg (Jason); David Wudel (Amy); Johny Wudel (Corinne); Chris Twitty (Tandy); Chad Twitty (Jamie); Casey Twitty (Amy); and Cortney Twitty. He is also survived by two nephews: Bill Twitty (Jacque), Tucson, AZ and John Twitty (Carol), Hutchinson, MN. Bill and Maxine aladored their 21 greatgrandchildren. Following Maxine's death, Bill was comforted by his faithful friend, Lulu, his beloved bulldog who never left his side.

Arizona arrangements (there are no funeral services) and transportation are being handled by Bunker's Garden Chapel in Mesa. A viewing will be held Saturday, June 14, in Logan, Utah, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Nelson Mortuary, 162 East 400 North, with a graveside service and interment following at the Wellsville Cemetery, Wellsville, UT. Major Twitty will be buried with full military honors and will always be remembered for his great love of family, Path Van Leeuwen, 78, passed away on June 8, 2008. Path will always be loved and remembered for her commitment to her family, her devotion to her church, and passion for her life in the dairy business.

Path and her husband George began dairying in Arizona over 45 years ago and the business they started remains in the family. Path was preceded in death by her husband, George who passed away unexpectedly in December, 2007. She is survived by children George Jr. of Buckeye, Trudy Harris and husband David of Goodyear, Mike and wife Jill of Boise, Idaho, Brian and wife Lisa of Albuquerque, NM, Betty of Goodyear, and Jake and wife Blanca of Litchfield Park. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Visitation and a rosary will be recited on Sunday, June 15th, with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. and a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear; phone (623) 932-1780. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 16th at 10:00 a.m.

at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 800 N. Central Ave. in Goodyear, Arizona. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Phoenix Zoo, 455 N.
