"There's no denying we've experienced a lot of change," he said. "It's a process we've gone through, but we feel we're well-positioned for the future." Belskus leads the motor sports side of the company, working in positions previously held by George and Chitwood. Curt Brighton took George's role as president and chief executive officer of Terre Haute-based Hulman Company. Mel Harder, the senior vice president of operations, has taken on an expanded role. Rhonda Winter became chief information officer during the winter and Mark Dill became the vice president of marketing and operation to Randy Bernard taking control of the Izod Indy-Car Series and the resignations of Joie Chitwood and Charlie Morgan, the Indianapolis-based company has a new look for this Indianapolis 500.

Chitwood was president and chief operating officer of the Speedway before taking a position at International Speedway Morgan held the same positions at IMS Productions before joining Emmis Communications. Also different is George's absence from the board of directors. He resigned in January. George's sisters Josie, Kathy and NO LONGER AT IMS CORP. Among the individuals who last year held leadership positions within Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corp.

Mari Hulman George is chairwoman of the IMS Corp. board of directors. public relations in March. Robby Greene is assuming most of Gordon's duties at IMS Productions.

Morgan's position was not filled. Among members of the Hulman-George family, Jar-rod Krisiloff, oldest son of Josie George, is on the rise. He is currently the director of new media and consumer strategies. Tony George Jr. is the manager of business development for the Firestone Indy Lights series.

His emphasis is the IRL's "Road to Indy" program. Nancy remain on the board along with attorney Jack Snyder. Mari Hulman George is the chairwoman. An official turnover tally has not been released by the organization, but among leadership positions, the number exceeds 50 people, including many senior staff members. Among them: Laura George (IMS staff adviser), Brian Gordon (IMS Productions executive producer), Chris Schwartz (IMS vice president of marketing), Randy Clark (IMS director of food and beverage) and the directors of Call Star reporter Curt Cavin at IMS and IRL public relations, (317) 444-6409.
