and Nadine Nelson Allen of Bountiful, UT; Eleanor Pearl and David Curtis Brown of Gilbert; John Lawrence and Janice Webster Allen of Gilbert (serving in the Philadelphia PA Mission); Dwight Drew and Rene Ellsworth Allen of Tucson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Norris was an ASC Flagstaff journalism honors graduate who shared with others his passionate interest in WWII aviation, music, geology, auto racing and history of western civilization. Thank you to all who loved and cared for Norris over his lifetime. Celebrate his life at a viewing at the LDS Olive Ward Chapel, side (2nd Ave) of the LDS Mesa Temple beginning at 8:30 AM Monday, May 19, 2008 with funeral services beginning at 10:00 AM followed by Mesa City Cemetery interment. Jerene "Jerry" Hallen Binkerd, 89, of Phoenix passed away on May 15, 2008.: She was born on August field, 27, Nebraska 1918 in to Walter Bloom- Family Owned and Mabel Hallen. Before moving to the Valley she lived in Downers Grove, Illinois where she worked for the Chicago Tribune newspaper as a proof reader. She was actively involved in volunteering for Junior Golf in the Valley and also was a volunteer with the ASU Women's golf program. She was preceded in death by her husband Evan Francis "Bink" Binkerd in 1985. She is survived by her nephews; Jay Johnson (Kim) and Jim Cravens.

Although she and Evan had no children of their own she is also survived by a group of close friends she lovingly referred to as her "kids." They include but are not limited to: Fred Hanson, Lauri Merten, Kay JeanQuartier Drew Totten, Kelly Douglass, Eric Snelz, Del Frolic, Jason Wales, Kym Ehret, Ruby Ehret, Annie Moe, Paul Purtzer and Nancy Taylor-Capps. Donald S. Gleason Sr. 1928-2008 of Scottsdale. Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather passed away suddenly in Gresham Oregon. He was born and raised in West Newton Massachusetts.

He graduated from Brown University in Providence Rhode Island in 1950 with a degree in Economics. He served in the Navy Amphibious force 1951-55 during the Korean conflict. He worked in Human Resources for G.E., Honeywell and Raytheon. Business required many relocations, and he enjoyed exploring each new environ. He lived in Norfolk, VA; Schenectady, NY; Fort Wayne, IN; Phoenix, AZ; Hingham Wellfleet, MA; and finally, Scottsdale.

He enthusiastically supported and participated in his children's schooling and sports activities. He was a devoted parent. He was a proud Bostonian, loved Cape Cod, and was a loyal, and finally happy, Red Sox fan. Don is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kate. Joseph F. Calderone, Born in Toronto Canada, On January 27th, 1925. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Calderone, of sixty three years for MESSINGER whom he served coffee in bed every morning. He could recite the days, hours, months, and years he had been married to often did. Their unconditional love touched more lives than they will ever know.

Vincent de Paul society and Knights of Columbus. He was instrumental in expanding both the Payson food bank and the St. Vincent de Paul food bank. His hard work and unfailing optimsim were truly inspiring. Joe had a zest for life.

He and Lorraine traveled for months at a time in their motorhome all over the U.S. and Canada. He loved singing, dancing, and every aspect of being SOcial. He had a story for every occasion. Local casinos knew him on a first name basis due to his magnetic personality and consistent lucky streak.

He was a true people person. We will deeply miss our husband, our father, our papa, and our friend. We love him with all of our hearts. In addition to Martha's pride and devotion to her husband and son, she will be remembered for helping and giving to those who were less fortunate. She has taken many people under her wing and fought battles for those who were unable to fight for themselves. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial service is planned for Monday, May 19, 2008 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church, 5510 N. Central Ave.

There will be a reception following the service at the church. Her remains will be interred at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery at Point Loma, overlooking San Diego Bay. He was born March 14, 1955, in Virginia, MN to Wendla and Arne Johnson.

Mark was self-employed, his favorite activities included camping, fishing and archery hunting. Three brothers Robert (Bernice), Michael (Karen), Raymond (Kathy) and seven sisters, Marcella Ramponi, Geraldine (Elliotte) Groenwold, Dorothy (Paul) Suomala, Gladys (Rodney) Isaacson, Betty (Kenneth) Forstie, Gloria (George) Niemela and Frances (Daniel) Kumpula, survive him. His father Arne Johnson, in 1983, and his mother Wendla Johnson, in 2008, preceded him in death. Visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008, at the Phoenix Laestadian Lutheran Church, 32434 43rd Cave Creek, AZ.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2008 also at the church. Interment will follow at Phoenix Memorial Cemetery, 200 W. Beardsley Rd, and Phoenix, followed by lunch at the church. Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Eva A. Kanouse left this world to be given her eternal on May 15, 2008. She was born September 22, 01928 in Sonora, Arizona. She was married to R. Bruce Kanouse for 43 years who in 1990 preceded her in death.

She will be deeply missed by her children: Kanouse (Naomi), heavenly reward Daniel Curtis Kanouse (April), Paula MESSINGER Adams (Vaughn), James Kanouse (Gerry), Susan Bieker (Jack), and Jennifer Mulcahy (Michael); her grandchildren, Daniel Kanouse (Lupe), Sara Kanouse, Colby Kanouse, Katie Kanouse, Bart Davis, Matthew Davis (Jamie), Christopher Davis, Jon Davis, Robert Kanouse, Blair Kanouse, Miranda Rupp (Leith), Joshua Bieker, Allison Bieker, Andrew Bieker, Lindsay Mulcahy, Oliver Mulcahy, Ryan Mulcahy, T.C. Mulcahy; and greatgrandchildren; Seren Davis, Skyelyn Davis, Mattson Davis, Dublin Davis and Anastasia Rupp. Other family survivors include her sisters, Esther Perez of Pico Rivera, California and Emily Greene of Showlow, Arizona. Eva was employed as an executive secretary for Avis Rent-a-Car for 32 years. She had many friends throughout the Phoenix area, as she was actively involved in church activities that spread her faith in Jesus Christ.

Her genuine warmth, affection and hard work were demonstrated in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Ministries, Life in the Spirit seminars, the Mt. Claret Cursillo Movement, St. Daniel the Prophet Rosary, Prayer Group and Eucharistic Ministries. Also, her community involvement with AA and Al-Anon helped many. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19th, at St.

Daniel the Prophet Church from 6:00 8:00 pm, with the Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Daniel's on Tuesday, May 20th at 11:00 am with visitation one hour before the Mass. Entombment will be at St. Francis Cemetery at 3:00 pm.

Contributions may be made in memory to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Ministries. Bette was born February 5, 1924, in Grass Creek, WY, grew up in Seattle, WA, lived and raised her family in Phoenix, AZ, before moving to Lake Oswego in 2004. Bette is survived by four daughters, Nina J. (Kendrick) Dodd, Rebecca "Beki" A.

(Kendrick) Katzman, Patricia "Pat" (Kendrick) Chase, and Michelle K. (Kendrick) Flory, as children. Bette is also survived grandchildren and four great grand; her two sisters, Zoe Emerson (Tacoma, WA) and Billie Palmer (Fresno, CA). She is preceded in death by her husband and daughters' father, Phil Kendrick (2003), and her mother, Nina Trelstad (1998). Bette Lou loved her family very much and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Juliana Liber died Thursday, May 15, at 10:10 a.m. at Odyssey Hospice in Peoria, AZ surrounded by her loving family. Juliana was born June 28, 1919 in Long Island City, New York. She moved from New York to Morristown, NJ in 1946, where she raised her four children. She and her husband, the beloved Harry Liber moved from NJ, across the Midwest, and settled in Cleveland, OH in 1977 where they resided for seven years.

Mrs Liber moved to Arizona in 1984 She was active at the St. Charles Borromeo Women's Guild, and was a Eucharistic Minister until her health began to fail. She enjoyed painting and other crafts. Most of all she was a loving homemaker, and collected and tried creative new recipies. Juliana dearly loved and cared for her family and was married to her husband.

Harry for 63 years. She is survived by her four children: Susan Liber of Monona WI, Greg Liber of Cleveland, OH, Mary Thompson of Glendale, AZ, and Christine LiberMalen of Ellicott City, MD; 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia and was 88 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William I. Lowry. Evelyn and "Ike" movedto Arizona in 1943, finally settling in Phoenix to raise their family. Throughout the years Evelyn was very active at First Southern Baptist Church of Phoenix, in the Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary, the Arizona Animal Welfare League and the Rio Salado Vizsla Club.

Evelyn is survived by her 5 children, Clark (Sue), Martha Cooper (Larry), Bil (Liv), Patrick (Carol), and Robert (Mirela).
