MEATS Some men get a kick out of shopping with the little woman especially if it's for all those good tasting things that wind up on the breakfast, dinner or supper table. Oz seemed to enjoy running around Hood's just as much as Linda did — and they paused at the meat department where Del Brandt, butcher, cut them a nice slice of sirloin. They also visited the produce, cheese and canned goods departments and occasionally asked one of the helpful employees where they might find this or that. You'll enjoy shopping at Hood's, too. HOOD'S 522 East State 295-5222 Algona Recognizing the importance of quality appliances in a home, Linda and Oz looked over a wide variety of home appliances at the North Iowa Appliance Center. In the photo at the left, Linda and Oz pose in front of a big new General Electric refrigerator-freezer with owner John Levy. Mr. Levy also showed them various models of General Electric oven ranges and automatic dishwashers and Hoover spin-dry clothes washers. For any type of home appliance, see North Iowa Appliance first.
