Award Day CEDAR FALLS ~ MaryReilly of Algona was among 694 State College of Iowa students honored for scholastic arid extracurricular achievements Wednesday (May 17) at the SCI - All-College Honors Convocation. She was awarded membership in Kappa Delta Pi, national honorary education socity. Cheryl Anderson of Lakota received the same honor. All students who achieved scholastic honors or were named to honor scoieties during the year had their names listed in the Honors Day program distributed at the convocation. Jane Hanselman of LuVerne was given membership in Purple Arrow, organization of freshman and sophomore women recognizing scholarship, cltizen- sldp and potential leadership. Four students from West Bend were also honored. Jeanne Banwart, Karen Christensen and Diana Metzger were all honored for scholarship, and Karen was awarded an Ida May Wilson scholarship for outstanding leadership as well as scholarship.
