Kilchenmann of 133 Oak Gnadenhutten, who will observe their 57th wedding anniversary, were guests of honor at a family dinner in their home. Edwin and the former Lena 1 i were married March 12, 1912, in the parson- fige of the Evangelical and Reformed Church (St.

John's) in Dover with Rev. D.J. Helmkamp as officiant. The couple are 46-year residents of Gnadenhutten and operated a dairy from 1936-46. Mr.

Kilchenmann is a retired farmer. They have 2 daughters, 2 Sons, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sudduth, secretary; James Wherley, treasurer, and Mrs. Ed Hill and Mrs. Hostetler, federation rep resentatives. On April 19, members and their husbands will board the "Union CCL Steamer" at Pau Dolvin's dock at 112 Bell av. Dover, and "cruise to faraway countries." A progressive sup per will be served.

Announcement was made of the March 7 presentation of "Lion in Winter." Kent State University Tuscarawas County Branch students will present the play and the proceeds will go to the Outdoor Drama Assn. The next meeting will be with Mrs. Richard Rea of 120 McKinley Dover. Areme Club Mrs. Russell Schear, Mrs.

James Maple and Mrs. William Shook were appointed to a nominating committee when 12 members of the Areme Club met Tuesday night with Mrs. Maple of 714 llth st. NW, New Philadelphia. Mrs.

Charles McCulloch presented devotions and Mrs. Blanche Sullivan gave a program on St. Patrick's Day. Mrs. John Stevenson presided.

Each Auxiliary is asked to send a list of names of deceased members to Mrs. William Storck of 569 E. Canal Newcomerstown, by May 15. Mrs. Robert Bair won the mystery box.

Fashions from Schwartz' Apparel Store in Dover portrayed the "Feminine Fantasy" of spring at the show sponsored by Tuscarawas Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Mrs. Dorothy Ream was coordinator and narrator. Mrs. Foster Flora presented a background of piano selections as the models strolled a path lined with tulips as they displayed sportswear, afternoon attire, coats, suits and the appropriate accessories for each costume with emphasis on shoes and furs. with Mrs Twig Members Make Puppets, Slate Work Days Preceding a luncheon and business meeting yesterday in Union Country Club, 17 members of Twig 2 of the Union Hospital Auxiliary made puppets. The meeting was attended by 31. Mrs. Hugh Houglan of Strasburg presided and Mrs. Robert Ihapman announced the group has 160 more puppets to make.

Another work day was slated for April 3 at 10 a.m. in Union Country Club followed by the regular meeting at 1. Members had a clearance sale during the morning session and Mrs. Houglan reported a profit of $22. Mrs.

Robert Jones announced there will be work days for the November bazaar every Tuesday except the first one of the month. They will be from 10 a.m. to 3 in her home at 1610 N. Walnut Dover. It also was announced the bridge marathon and dinner will be March 14 in Union Country Club.

Mrs. H.F. VanEpps, vice president of the Auxiliary, reminded members of the appearance of the "Tamborit- zans" March 22 in Dover High auditorium. There will be 2 performances one at 2:30 and 8:30. Mrs.

The meeting was in the home of Mrs. Walter Flauhaus of RD Dover, with Mrs. Lena riauhaus and Mrs. William Hess as co-hostesses. Mrs.

Vicor Renner gave devotions and Mrs. Glen Schwartz reported he WSCS will meet April 17-18. Mrs. Armand Houk, program chairman, gave a talk on the Amish people jn the area and Zoar village. She sang several songs.

A silent auction was held. Lodge Plans Sale For Moosehaven Moosehaven Night was observed at last night's Dover Women of the Moose meeting and will be observed at the March 20 meeting when proceeds from a silent auction be sent to Moosehaven. Mrs. Rene Heid, senior regent, was in charge and 25 were sresent. Mrs.

Maude Hutrides gave a reading titled "Clancy's Daughter." Mrs. Roy Flickinger, recorder, read communications and reported on a mid-winter conference. Marie Pringle received her call letter for the College of Regents. A wedding gift was presented Mrs. Gene Martin, the former Cora Holcomb.

Mrs. Frank Lirgg and Mrs. Arthur Porter won prizes. A centerpiece of flowers and green candles in crystal holders were used to carry out a St. Patrick's Day theme when refreshments were served by Mrs.

Tom Carruthers and her committee. The same committee svill be in charge at the next meeting. Correction The open house in observance of the 25th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ansel Smith of Gnadenhutten will be March 16 from 2 to 6 p.m.
