SATURDAY, April 22 - Communicants class -- 9:00 a.m. MONDAY, April 24 - Adult Bible Study ~ 8:00 p.m. Burt friends received word of the recent death of the Rev. Perry 0. Hanson at the age of 92. The Rev. Hanson who was the father of Rev. Perry 0. Hanson Jr. former pastor at the Burt Methodist church, visited in Burt several times in 1964 was guest speaker at both the Burt and Good Hope Methodist churches. The Rev. Hanson Sr. had served as missionary in China for over 50 years. Rev. Hanson Jr. is now working with the Central Nations in Pakistan. Mrs. Hilda Gifford, Martha and Joan entertained at cards on Mori, evening honoring the birthday anniversaries of Mrs. Beulali Dundas and June Presthus. Guests besides the honorees were Lawrence Presthus, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Presthus, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Gifford, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Grubb, and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Gifford.
