a ARIZONA NEWS BRIEFS Flight offered between Phoenix, Lake Havasu LAKE HAVASU CITY A new airline has begun offering service between Lake Havasu City and Phoenix. Arizona Express, which operates a small fleet of 19-seat Beechcraft 1900D airplanes, made its first flight between Lake Havasu and Phoenix on Monday. The initial schedule calls for one roundtrip flight on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The company's operating certificate restricts flights to nine passengers or less. "The loads are light, but that's to be expected right out of the gate," said general manager Sean Kienle.

Born September 28, 1914 in Colony, Kansas, he is survived by his son, Marcus (Denna), and daughter, Clare, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Ben Denton of CA, and his sister Natalie Phelps of Eager. Floyd was well known to Mesa and Arizona residents as a musician and influential music educator. He was also a professional violinist and was on the founding committee of the Phoenix Symphony in which he played for 35 years. He also founded and conducted the Sun Valley Orchestra, which became the Mesa Symphony.

Floyd and his recently deceased wife, Evelyn, shared their love of the arts with their family during their 53 years together. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A visitation will be heid on Thursday, June 17, 2004 from PM at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald St. in Mesa.

Frieda Frieda was born December 2, 1918 in Madisonville, Kentucky. She spent her teen years in Florida. She moved back to Kentucky and soon married Glover Beeny. She had two sons: Roger and Mark. She had three grandchildren and three great- -grandchildren.

Frieda moved to Payson in June 1996 and shortly thereafter married Lamar Jones. Frieda enjoyed traveling; she visited nearly every She continent and many countries. particularly liked Africa and Switzerland. She visited each of those, several times. Lamar commented that if the car went, she had to be in it.

Bill Cameron age 75, Ajo, died June 10, was drafted into the United States Army for active duty in October of 1950 and transferred to the Army reserve in 1952. He was honorably discharged in October 1956.

Bill was laid to rest in the Ajo Cemetery on the morning of June 12th. A rosary was said for him at the Douglass Funeral Home at 8:30 followed by a mass at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 9:00 AM. At the cemetery the services were with full military honors. Bond, 75, of Loveland, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2004, at the McKee Medical Center Hospice Unit in Loveland. Cremation has taken place and, at Don's request, no services will be held. Donald E. Bond was born on August 6, 1928, in Buffalo, NY to Melvin and Ruth (Bork) Bond. A former resident of New York, he had resided in Colorado for 39 years.

Mr. Bond owned his own business called D. E. Bond Associates and worked as a sales engineer in the electronics field. Don was a self made man with the midas touch who never hesitated to share his business philosophies with those who were interested in hearing about them.

Don enjoyed being a member of the Elks Club of Fort Collins and Loveland and was a faithful member of the Catholic Church. Don's love of family was the guidepost for his life and he will be greatly missed as a best friend and father to those fortunate enough to call him Dad. In addition to being with family, Don's favorite activities included "doing the flea marketing, shooting the breeze with his compadres docked at Boyd Lake, basking in the sun, riding bikes, dancing, fishing and barbecues. He is lovingly survived by his sons Mark G. Bond and Jeffrey P.

Bond both of Fort Collins, CO; his daughter Dawn Elizabeth Bond of North Platte, NE; and his grandson Dylan Michael Bond. He is also survived by his former wife Elizabeth Bond. She attended St. Francis Xavier and Petoskey High School before moving to Arizona in 1994. She was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated from Horizon High School in Scottsdale. She graduated magna cum laude from The University of Arizona with a degree in secondary education and was a Spanish teacher at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix. She is survived by her husband Brian Hohl of Cave Creek.

She married Brian, the love of her life, on July 13, 2002. She is also survived by her parents Kent and Ana Erickson and two sisters Jessica and Monica Erickson all of Scottsdale; her father-in-law and motherin-law Larry and Linda Hohl and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jeff and Megan Hohl all of Scottsdale. She was a devout catholic, a loving wife and a blessing to her parents and sisters. She loved teaching, learning and traveling. She was a beautiful person and had a passion for living.

She loved her Mexican culture. Above all, Ingrid loved her family. She spent many of her summers on Mackinac Island, Michigan and in Mexico with her mother's family, the Emmelhainz. Raymond Mark Cripps died June 9, 2004 in Phoenix, Raymond was born April 11, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a proud graduate of the Henry Ford Trade School in Dearborn, Michigan and completed an electrical apprenticeship at the Ford Motor Company. In the 1950's Ray served in the United States Air Force at Luke AFB and in Gila Bend, where he worked in ground-to-air communications.

In 1956 he married Lorraine, beginning a wonderful 47 years together. He worked for several years in a fulltime position with the Michigan Air National Guard before he and Lorraine moved to Phoenix, where Ray worked in the Antenna and Microwave section at Motorola in Scottsdale. Ray enjoyed traveling, and he especially enjoyed Death Valley, Mazatlan, and Maui. He enjoyed returning to Michigan and found pleasure in visiting the dams along the Au Sable River where he spent summers in his youth. He also loved the remote cabin in Flagstaff and the joys of Prescott Valley.

Ray's interest in power was extended to his hobbies, which included an interest in stationary engines, antique Century motors, and antique autos. He was a ham radio operator, holding the amateur radio call WA7EDH since 1965. He also had a strong interest in railroads. He enjoyed railroad museums and his own model railroad. He was a a member of TCA, The Train Association.

age of 41. Ronald, born December 27, 1962 in Phoenix, AZ graduated from Mt. View High School in 1980. He worked in steel construction, well drill rigging, and as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors.

He is survived by his parents Joyce and Harley Handy, brother Gerald Holmes of Sapulpa, OK, nieces Vanessa Holmes, Lauren Holmes, Keri O'Neal and step-sister Sheri (Ken) O'Neal. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be heid at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 19, 2004 at Melcher's Mission Chapel 6625 E. Apache Trail, Mesa, AZ 85205. Dorothy Mae Hunt, age 94, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away suddenly on June 3, 2004. She was born on April 28, 1910 in Adrian, Missouri. Samuel Hyman, 98, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away June 12, 2004. Services have been held. Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary. Eugene Louis Hills, 83, of Scottsdale, passed away on June 13, 2004 at his home surrounded by family. Eugene was born June 10, 1921 at Waltham, Massachusetts to Bert E.

and Julia Hills. After high school he joined the US Army Medical Corps where he proudly served until June of 1946. On June 23, 1946 married the love of his life, Margaret (Peggy) Dignity White. To this union four children were born. In 1950 Eugene joined the police department where he served until 1962, when the health of their youngest child forced them to move to Arizona.

In Arizona Eugene went to work for the Circle Corporation where eventually the entire family worked together in a store in Phoenix. He held different positions for the company, but his favorite was in the store interacting with the public. Eugene had a great sense of humor and was truly a "people person." Grateful for having shared his life are his wife of 57 years, Peggy of Scottsdale; sons, Kenneth Hills and Clifford (Judy) Hills all of Scottsdale; daughters, Bobbi (Ken) Mudge of Apache Junction and Laurie (Doug) Jacobs of Sturgis, SD; brother, Donald (Yevette) Hills of Wales, Massachusetts. Eugene will also be greatly missed by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.
