Phoenix Desert Dogs, 1:05 p.m. Surprise Stadium hosts the Surprise Rafters, a team consisting of players provided by the Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies, Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles. The Arizona Fall League's 32-game season runs through Nov. 16, with a championship game Nov. 18.

The Fall League is considered a showcase for major league prospects. The team rosters are composed chiefly of high-draft choices and Double-A and Triple-A players selected through a position draft held by major league clubs in August. Each club provides six players for a roster of up to 36 players. Surprise is hosting 16 games this season, including the inaugural Arizona Fall League All-Star Game on Oct. 27.
