The Messengers Gospel Ministries PO Box 220075 Milwaukie OR, 97269 Katherine Michelle Arbaugh May 4, 1984 January 6, 2007 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, have finished the race, I have kept the Faith." On January 6th, 2007, Katherine departed this life surrounded by her family at Dobson House Hospice home after a courageous 8 year struggle from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Katherine was born in Mesa, Arizona on May 4th 1984. She attended Waggoner Elementary School and Kyrene Middle School in Tempe Arizona before the accident and completed her schooling at McClintock High School in the Special Needs Program. An intelligent, outgoing happy child who loved the outdoors and sports, Katherine was active in Girl Scouts, youth basketball and softball including the school teams at Kyrene Middle School and as a member of the Tempe American Little League District Championship All Star team in 1998. Katherine and her family were blessed with numerous loving caregivers in her home through the past 8 years and Katherine was fortunate to have these additional "mothers." Therapies she received through Rehab Without Walls and Spire Hyperbaric Institute significantly enhanced her life. In addition, Katherine received outstanding medical care with particular thanks to the doctors and staff of Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn where she was a patient repeatedly. The Special Needs Program at McClintock High School directed by Bob Hales and Darlene Waggoner, RN, was Katherine's home away from home for 6 years.

The attention and love from the teachers and therapists there was treasured. Katherine is survived by her parents, Larry and Mary Arbaugh, her sister Caroline Arbaugh, her grandmothers Betty Arbaugh and Elizabeth Brand, aunts Melody Chang and Cheryl Johnson and many cousins.
