She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 9, 1922 to John and Bertha Szczypta. Irene lived in Arizoalmost 60 years. She was married to Michael Kurelowech for 50 years and was the mother of six children and four grandchildren. She was a homemaker and wonderful gardener who had gardens full of vegetables and fruits. For the last four years she had resided at Fellowship Square at Christian Care Center and enjoyed helping with multiple charitable works and religious activities there.

She enjoyed playing the piano to entertain and comfort others at the center. She is preceded in death by her husband Michael and daughter Linda. He is survived by his son and daughter inlaw (Rod Bonnie), two grand-daughters and their husbands (Angela Joe Zapustas and Holly Paul Schneider) and two great grandchildren (Olivia Riley Zapustas) all of Chandler, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loy in January 2001 after 56 years of marriage. Paul was born on January 14, 1918 in Chandier, Oklahoma and he served his country in the VETERAN US Army during WWII in the South Pacific, which included the Philippines, Luzon, and New Guinea. During his service, he married Loy Olean Love, the light and love of his life. Upon his honorable discharge in 1945, they moved from California to Phoenix, AZ.

His entire career was spent at Arizona Public Service where he was active in both company and union leadership activities. He retired from APS in 1983 after 34 years of service. His interests were his family, school, church, Baseball coaching and community service. Countless hours were spent on the baseball fields of South Phoenix with community youth Baseball leagues and his son. He was a loyal member of North Phoenix Baptist Church, where he and Loy developed many friends and relationships while serving as a church elder and usher.

Paul was always positive, smiling, incredibly warm, hard working, generous, loving man who had many friends and relationships. He and Loy had a marriage based on faith, love, family values and he was a devoted husband and father. Together they crafted a marriage and family that can be admired and is the benchmark for all to aspire to. Paul and Loy touched so many lives and will never be forgotten. Paul's easy manor, wit, and smile will be missed by both family and friends.

Elementary school in Santa Clara, CA, at Eisenhower School, Jr. High in LaMirada, CA, and began High School, Camarrilo CA. She graduated from Moon Valley High in Phoenix, AZ in 1969. Judy received her BA Degree in Drama from California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks, CA and her Masters in Drama at the University of California at Riverside. Judy touched thousands of lives though her passion for the arts and her teaching, performing, directing and producing career that spanned four decades and three states.

She worked with disabled children while a student at Cal Lutheran. She found drama to be a therapy for impaired students. Many of her productions were signed for the deaf. She directed the "Children's Theatre" for the city of Whittier, CA for five years although she had performed and worked with staging there as a teenager. While a member of St.

Andrew Lutheran Church in Phoenix, she was Director of Youth and organized church drama which she believed to be an important venue of education in the church. Orangewood Elementary in Phoenix had an after-school Drama Program that Judy organized. She taught at the Jewish Summer Recreational Program. While in Phoenix she also taught in the Dysart School District. She held teaching certificates in AZ, CA, and WA.

Judy was Director of Children's and Adult education as well as director of drama at Trinity Lutheran Church in Parkland, WA for the last 12 years. She planned Confirmation and Vacation Bible School, wrote and produced many original church dramas. For the last five years she returned to Phoenix to volunteer with her mother at the VNSA Book Sale at the State Fairgrounds. She enjoyed her effective involvement in the ELCA (LACE) Lutheran Association of Christian Educators. Judy will be remembered for her faith in God, zest for life, her boundless optimism, her sense of humor, contagious laugh and her unconditional love and devotion to family, friends, students and community.

9 We thank God for loaning Judy to us what for her short life here on earth. She managed to accomplish would ordinarily fill more than one life. As Judy comes into the full presence of the Lord, we remember her favorite Bible Verse, "Be still and know that I am God." racing pioneer and operated VETERAN Speed Shop for 25 and was inducted in the AZ Racing Hall of Fame in 1999.
