M. J. Egan, of Powhatan, this being preceded by ft tine entertainment given by the pupils of the school. Diplomas Were presented to Patricia Beem, gave the salutory address: William Bruch, valedictorian; Joseph Jtelgher, Patrick Phillips and Nichblae Pastore, The school Is conducted by the Sisters of the Poor Child Jesus, whose Mother house Is In Parkersburg, The able and efficient manner In which the pupils participated in the exercises was an evident Indication of the thorough and capable training of these selt-sacrlllclng Sisters. This choir, which Is under the direction ot Miss Elizabeth Shelton, will slug several special selections In addition to the hymns and other musical features Incidental to the worship program. At the evening service which begins at 8 o'clock, the regular choir, under the direction ot James Elmer Brown, will sing "I Will Extol Thee," by Wooler, with solo passage by Miss Blanche Armentrout. Miss Marlon Smith wilt sing an appropriate hymn as an offertory.
