GOOD NEIGHBORS AROUND THE TOWN & COUNTRY Do You Know A "Good Neighbor"? It's Worth'2.50 The Upper Des Moines has been running this Good Neighbors series for sometime. We have endeavored to give personal glimpses of varied members of our area, from all sectors, in hope that each may come to know the other better. It has occurred to us, however, that perhaps our readers have some good ideas as to subjects for this "Good Neighbors" series. To any of our readers who will send in acceptable synopsis of a "Good Neighbor" with a picture of the person, we will forward a check for $2.50 Often in a community there are men or women who do good deeds, perform kind acts, who are really "Good Neighbors", but do their bit in a quiet and subdued fashion, and perhaps we (the newspaper) do not hear about it. So, it might be that YOU have someone in mind that would be a good subject for this Good Neighbor series. If so, we'd like to hear from you.
