He also survived by one brother A me (wife June) and kulen Ethyl Dahlin, Hilda Thorpe and Lillian Darth all of Minneapolis and Sylvia Day of Phoenix.

One brother. Fngebnl, and one sister, Agnes, precede him in death. Olaf was a self-taught businessman who was involved in several venture throughout his life including farming, owning and operating an implement business, small auto dealership and a hardware (lore. He and his brother A me have been partners since Ihey were young men. In 1956 Olaf and Lorraine decided a warmer climate would be nice and started spending their winter in Phoenix.

They continued to return to Montana lo lake care of farming interests for many summers, but have now been permanent resident of Phoenix for several years. Olaf did not have an opportunity to have much formal education but encouraged his sons to go to college and was proud thai they both graduated from Arizona State University. After moving to Phoenix, Olaf started buying real estate and continued hi life long interest of Hock market investing. He thoroughly enjoyed being in business with hi tons and often said how fortunate he was to have their office to go lo on a daily basis where he could visit with fnends and wait every day lo get a printout of the daily (lock market activity. Olaf is a member of Shepherd of Ihe Valley Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM on Wednesday. June 13. 2001 at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 North 7th Street. Funeral services will be private. Contributions can be made lo Hospice of the Valley, 1510 Flower St.

Born in Stu-benville, Ohio, on May 20, 1937, he moved to Scottsdle shortly from Ohio State is survived by his V'-v after graduating University. Mike wife of 43 years, Nancy Phillips Jarko, and his children: Michael P.

Jarko of California; Lisa Gundersen of Scottsdale, Arizona; Jeffrey Jarko of Mesa, Arizona; and Christopher Jarko of Buckley Air Force Base, Denver, Colorado. They are encouraging donations to the Boys' and Girls' Club of Scottsdale in memorial to Mike. Mike, successful at any endeavor, came to Scottsdale in 1961 and founded Jarko Associates, a firm that represents manufacturers in the electronics industry. Having four children, Mike was eager to participate in community programs with the Scottsdale Boys' Club being of particular interest. He was a member of the Board of Directors and was involved with The Club since 1974.

He coached athletic teams, improved the facilities with his considerable skills and was available at a moment's notice. He will be missed greatly by his grandchildren: Cole and Alex Gundersen; Jacob, Kyle and Amanda Jarko; and Andrew Jarko, and his sister, Patricia Day of New Canaan, Connecticut. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Michael and Lillian Jarko, and his brother, Richard. Mike retired in 1987, allowing he and Nancy to savor the fruits of their labor. In 1989, the decided to enjoy their summers in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where they met many great friends who will be forever a part of their hearts.

1st Ave. Rudolph FlaKerhut, our dearly beloved husband Father, who cherished us as we cherished him, died of a massive stroke on June 8. 2001. Rudy was born in Brooklyn, NY, August 2, 1915. The family moved lo Phoenix in 1958 he lived a fruitful, happy, active life and enjoyed 61 years of great marriage.

Rudy will be with us in our heart forever. After moving to Phoenix. Rudy started working for the City of Phoenix in Ihe property management section of the real estate division. He later became property management supervisor A was involved in the management of propcr-liea acquired by the city for their use. He retired after reaching Ihe age of 65.

He is survived by his wife: Adclle; daughter. Nalhama S. Elder and her husband: Dan; sister-in-law: Frances Fingerhut of N. Miami, FL A sister-in-law: Sara S. Warshaw of Brooklyn, NY, who was more like a sister to him.

His career was in banking and finance. He was one who loved his profession, retiring as Sr. Vice President of Continental Bank. Don especially enjoyed his family, wife, Beverly, son, Larry and daughters, Gretchen and Janine. His passions were buying automobiles-at least one every few years, the boat at Lake Powell and traveling with his son, Larry, and his brother-in-law Oliver Stallings.

He was active in the Prescott United Methodist Church, Meals-On-Wheels and Prescott People Who Care. Mystery thrillers were his favorite reading. Friends, many of long standing were loved. Don and Beverly have an extended family, a son-in-law, daughter-in-law, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great nieces and two nephews. Don's special friend and buddy, Wrinkie gave him many hours of pleasure and companionship.

Don was a good friend, a loving and generous father and husband. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, friend and grandmother as well as an avid golfer and card player. She was born in Punxsutawney, PA on March 22, 1924. Toni was employed by Bell Telephone company, the Kane Republican Newspaper and the Hamlin Bank of Kane, PA. Toni was preceded in death by her parents. Rose and Joseph Manfredo; Her husband of 49 years, Edward Morse; her sister, Florence Manfredo; and her brother, Louis Manfredo.

She is sunvived by her daughter, Barbara Michette of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren. Lauderdale and Hazel Hardaway Lauderdale January 22, 1920 in Carthage. MO. He served as a Navy Air Force Lieutenant during WWII. He and his wife of 54 year Ethel May (Johnson) Lauderdale moved lo the Valley from Austin, TX in 1990. They have two children.

Donald earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Ihe University of Texas in Austin where he was made a member of the Tau Beta Pi honorary electrical engineering fraternity. As a Naval Lieutenant during WWII, he received advanced radar training at both Harvard and MIT and was stationed al Barber' Point Hawaii at war' end. Following the war he married Ethel May Johnson of Glenside, PA on Sept.

27, 1947. Donald became Director of the Radar Division of the Applied Research Laboratories at the University of Texas and for many years led research in both military and civilian applications. He holds several U.S. patents related to electronics. He has been a lifelong "ham" radio operator, and at age 13 was one of the youngest licenced Amateur Radio operators in the country.

Don was an astronomy buff and a believer in physical fitness, running and swimming several miles each day. He participated in several quarter marathon runs and enjoyed a lifetime interest in tennis. In addition lo his research work, he was involved in repairing and renting TVs (Alpha TV Rental Co.) before most Americans knew what the letters meant. He had a strong interest in Solar Energy and published material on the subject. Don also had a real estate business in Texas and worked briefly for the Texas Dept.
