Miss Kuykendall, Steve Annett Say Vows In Church Ceremony Miss Ann Kuykendall of Cherokee and Steve Annett of Sheffield were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, in Second and Wallace Street Church of Christ. James Vinzant, minister of the Church of Christ In Dublin, officiated for the candlelight, double ring ceremony. Parents of the couple, are Mr.

and Mrs. Kenneth Kuykendall of Cherokee and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Annett of Sheffield. Wedding music was sung by an a cappella group consisting of Mr.

and Mrs. Lloyd Beasley, Mr. and Mrs. Ken McCoy, Mr. and Mrs.

Dwayne Bishop, Sarah Bynum, Elizabeth Bynum and Sam Beasley. Mrs. James Vlnzant sang the couple's chosen songs, "Sunrise, Sunset" and "The Twelfth of Never." Decorations Included gardenias and greenery, baskets of flowers, and ferns. The ceremony began with the seating of mothers of the bride and groom In pews marked with gardenias and candles. Forty- eight white tapered candles were then lit by Jay and Charley Kuykendall, brothers of the bride.

Miss Genie Ballard of Dallas was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Paula Mayfleld of Farwell, Cathy and Debra Annett of Sheffield, sisters of the bridegroom, Gayle Epperson-of Llano and Suzette Vann. They wore Identical yellow crepe gowns with pearl trim and lace bodice. Each attendant carried a bouquet of gardenias, yellow roses and baby's breath, Kippl Kuykendall of Valley Spring was flower girl. She wore a long yellow organza dress and carried a nosegay bouquet of yellow roses.

Ring bearer was Herbie Noelke IV of Sheffield. He wore a white tux and delivered the rings on a satin pillow. Mike Long of Idalou served as best man. Groomsmen were Teryl Hideout of Abilene, Mark Hardgrave of Sheffield, Gary Hatchtell of Bowie, Stephen Reid of Midland Jay Kuykendall of Cherokee. Ushers were Charley Kuykendall and Mike Bailey of Cherokee, Keith Shaffer of Valley Spring and Mark Travis of Ballinger.

The groomsmen and ushers were dressed In forest green, Lord West tuxedos with light yellow ruffled shirts. The bride was- escorted to the altar by her father and given In marriage by her parents. For her wedding, she chose the gown that her mother wore 25 years ago when she was married In the same church. The gown was made of traditional slipper satin and fashioned with a sweetheart yoke of silk tulle edged with Chantllly lace embroidered with seed pearls. The fitted bodice closed with satin but- tons and the long tapered sleeves ended In a point over the hand.

Wide lace on the bottom of the gown and around the chapel length train was also embroidered with seed pearls. Her veil of silk tulle fell from a satin headpiece trimmed with Chantilly lace and seed pearls. She carried a cascading bouquet of gardenias and ivy with a touch of baby's breath. She also wore a blue garter fashioned of lace that was 50 years old. The garter was made by Mrs.

A. W. Forest of Dallas. The bridegroom was dressed in a white tuxedo designed by After Six with vest and white ruffled shirt and white shoes. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in Ranchmen's Tower Hotel.

The bride's table was covered with a full, white satin skirt overlaid with white net that was caught In scallops with bouquets, revealing a yellow Inset in the corners. The three-tiered cake was topped with wedding bells and sugar doves, with the tiers separated with white columns. Yellow roses cascaded diagonally around the cake. Yellow punch was served from a crystal bowl and the candelabra, centerpiece and other appointments were gold and crystal. Rice-paper napkins carried the message "We are now Mr.

and Mrs. Steve Annett." The groom's table, covered with brown satin overlaid with white net, held a German chocolate cake topped with a golden rope love-knot carried by two white doves. Appointments were sliver and a sliver candelabra completed the arrangement. Servers were Misses Beba Ballard and Karen Spann of Dallas and Christl Calhoun of Jacksboro for the bride's table; and Mrs. Mark Hardgrave of- Sheffield and Mrs.

Teryl Rideout of Abilene served the groom's table. The bridesmaids gave each guest a reception scroll signed by the bride and groom; and later passed out yellow satin rosebuds filled with rice to shower the couple as they left. After a wedding trip to Monterrey, Mexico, the couple will reside near Sheffield. Parents of the bridegroom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the ranch home of the Kenneth Kuykendalls Thursday night. Barbecue and all the trimmings were served on picnic tables and bales of hay in the garden to about 50 members of the wedding party.

Mmes. Johnnie Oswald, Martin Vann and Mrs. James Epperson were hostesses for the bridesmaid's luncheon in the Oswald home at 12 noon Friday. At the same hour, Kenneth, Jay and Charley Kuykendall hosted approximately 15 men of the wedding party at the Cactus Cafe. The altar was decorated with two candelabra entwined with English ivy and holding yellow tapers, two large baskets of Kllllan daisies and yellow Marguerite daisies, and potted ferns. A small stand holding the unity candle, decorated with polished greenery, completed the setting. Yellow satin bows designated family pews.

Mrs. Noel Wood, organist, presented wedding music and accompanied Danny Woold- rldge who sang "The Lord's Prayer," "A Time For Us" and "Whither Thou Goest." Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a dress of candlelight mlramist with empire waistline. The lace- covored bodice featured a high 'neckline with sheer tucked yoke eclgcd In Alencon lace and pearls with 24 tiny cove red buttons In back. The lantern sleevos of sheer and lace were designed with lace cuffs and tiny buttons. The A-line skirt flowed to a cathedral train.

Rp-ombroidered Alencon lace trimmed the skirt front and oclKPcl the entire train, with appliques of lace and seed pearls over the skirt, train and veil. A headpiece of re-em- nroiderud lace and seed pearls held the veil of bridal illusion. Slio carried a colonial bouquet of yellow pom pon daisies, white daisies and baby's breath. She wore a necklace given to her paternal grandmother by her grandfather, J. A.

Mask. Mrs. J. A. Mask wore the necklace at her wedding.

Kim Mask was her sister's maid of honor and Mrs. Bobby Mask, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Debra Alston and Donna Rankin of Miles, cousin of the bride. Melissa Evans was junior bridesmaid. The bride's attendants wore floor length gowns of yellow polyester crepe with empire waistlines and gored skirts.

The gowns were fashioned with jeweled neckline and short sleeves of polyester eyelet embroidery. They each carried a colonial bouquet of white pom pon daisies, baby's breath and ribbon streamers. They wore headpieces of yellow tulle and ribbon with tiny flowers. A necklace, a gift from the bride, completed each attendant's ensemble. Dana Rivers of San Saba was flower girl and wore a yellow eyelet polyester dress with ruffle skirt of yellow eyelet polyester and puff sleeves.

She carried a white straw basket of daisies. Her headpiece was of yellow daisies and ribbon streamers. Mike McKlnnerney was ring bearer. He wore a yellow and white houndstooth-check coat with white pants and yellow butterfly tie. He carried a candlelight satin pillow edged In lace.

Candlelighters were Dean Taylor, cousin of the bride, and Mackie McKinnerney, cousin of the bridegroom. Kenneth Mask, cousin of the bride, and Steve Beakley ushered. Rex Smith served as best man. Groomsmen were Bobby Mask, brother of the bride, Sammy White of Flatonia, cousin of the bridegroom, Lynn Hamrick, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Joey Hardman. They wore black tuxedos with yellow ruffled shirts and butterfly ties.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in fellowship hall of the church. The bride's table was laid with white, draped with yellow net and yellow ribbon, and accented with wedding bells. The bride's bouquet and the bridesmaid's bouquets formed the centerpiece. The second layer was topped with a miniature bride and groom.

top tier was suspended by Roman columns and decorated with yellow satin wedding bells. The cake was served with yellow and white daisy mints and nuts by Mrs. Doyal and Mrs. Gene Dunning of Lampasas, aunts of the bride. Pineapple fruit punch was ladled by Mrs.

Lynn Hamrick, sister of the bridegroom. Appointments were crystal and sliver. The groom's table, covered with a yellow checked cloth, was centered with yellow and white daisies and ceramic peanuts, flanked by white candles. His two-tiered chocolate cake, decorated with peanuts, was made by Mrs. Gene Dunning.

Coffee from a silver service was served with the cake by Brenda Doyal of Brady and Carolyn Dunning of Lampasas, cousins of the bride. Michelle Tacket and Patsy Hamilton, both of Ranger, registered guests from a table which held the bride's book and a photograph of the bride in her wedding gown. Karl Mask, cousin of Hie bride, and Threasa McKlnner- ney, cousin of the groom, handed out yellow flower rice bags. Others in the house party were Mrs. Mike Peel of Brady, cousin of the bride, Mrs.

James McKlnnerney, aunt of the groom, Mrs. Robert Lewis and Melody Ann Lewis, cousins of the groom, Mrs. Bobby Deeds, Mrs. Merle Taylor cousin of the bride, Mrs. Paul Staton of Stephenville, Mrs.

Lonnle Rankin of Miles and Mrs. Merle Taylor, aunts of the bride. For traveling, the bride wore a red and navy dotted polyester knit pantsuit with white accessories and a white pom pon daisy corsage. They will reside in College Station where the bridegroom will be a junior at Texas University. Out-of-town guests attended the wedding from Brownwood, Miles, San Saba, Brady, Lampasas, Big Lake, Ranger, Stephenville, Wall and Taylor.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal supper Thursday at Larry's in San Saba. Approximately 00 guests attended. After the reception, a supper was held in the REA building at Richland Springs for relatives and close friends. House party members were Mrs. Jerry Petty of Brady, aunt of the bride, Mrs.

W. II. McKinner- ney, aunt of the bridegroom, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beakley.

Pre-nuptial parties included a recipe shower In the home of Mrs. Lucille Harrison at Happy Patch, a plastic ware party given in the home of Mrs. Bobby Mask, a bridal tea at the REA building, and a rice bag party in the Bobby Mask home, hosted by the bridesmaids.
