Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, 401 N. Hayden Scottsdale, AZ. Arrangements by Whitney Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home. E. Anderson, a resident of Phoenix since 1946, passed away December 13, 2002 at the age of 86.

Myrt was born to Edwin 8 and Clara Knutson on a farm in Valders, Wisconsin (as were her 3 sisters and 1 brother) on September 26, 1916. She attended Manitowoc High School. In 1939, she worked as a secretary in the Manitowoc Shipyards. At that time she met Harold Anderson and in the winter of 1942 he proposed and then were married on March 27, 1943. Shortly after they were married, Harold received orders to serve in World War If in the Aleutian Islands.

In 1946, after the war, they settled in Phoenix where Myrt worked for 20 years at the Tempe branch of the Arizona Bank. Myrt was very active with both the Good Shepherd and King Of Glory Lutheran Churches and was an avid golfer. She loved to bake and her grandchildren will not only greatly miss her unconditional love but will also miss her wonderful cakes and cookies. Myrt will always be remembered as a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. Her children are Sheryl Dickey, married to Donald and their children are Kristin, Lauren and Audra.

Daughter, Jane Remaley, married to David and their children are Seth and Charlie. And son Robert Anderson, married to Regina and their child is Summer. Visitation will be on Dec. 19, 2002 from 6-8 pm at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Tempe.

Funeral services will be held Dec. 20. 2002 at 11:30 am at King of Glory Lutheran church, 2085 E. Southern Ave. in advantage Tempe, Arizona.

Arrangements by Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel. Joseph (Joey) L. Chavez II, 38, was called to his peace on Sunday, December 15, 2002. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2002 at Sun West Funeral Home, 15399 Grand Avenue, El Mirage. Public viewing will held from 5PM 8PM, with a the Rosary beginning at 7PM.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2002 at 9AM at Santa Teresita Church, 14016 N. Verbena El Mirage. He will be laid to rest following services at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas, Avondale. Joey was born in Burley, Idaho on November 13, 1964.

He devoted himself to his loved ones through his many roles as: father, Godfather, son, brother, brother-in-law, and friend. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and his willingness to help out at a moment's notice. He was employed by John C. Lincoln Hospital, in the Emergency Department, where he touched the lives not only of patients, but of co-workers as well. Joey loved life and always lived it to the fullest.

Joey is survived by both, parents, Jose I and Maria Chavez; his son Joey Ill; brothers Andrew, Martin, Benjie and Chris Chavez; sisters Mary Lou Chavez and Ruby Rios, as well as (6) nephews a and nieces. Margaret "Peggy" Coutts, 75, of Scottsdale, died December 14, 2002. She was born August 4, 1927 in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Arizona 24 years ago from Waukesha, Wisconsin where she attended Carroll College from 1946-1948. Peggy was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and a Stephens Ministry Counselor. Survivors include her husband, Robert; two sons, Lawrence (Linda) and David: four grandchildren, Melissa, Marcia, Michelle, and Michael; three great-grandchildren, Cade, Aubrey and Trace.

A Memorial Service will be 2pm Saturday, December 21, 2002 at Messinger Mortuary Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale. Veronica Armenta, age 5 from Glendale, December 9, 2002. She was born on November, 1997. She was known to most as Baby Pumpkinhead to others as well as Vero which is short for Veronica. God chose to take Baby sooner than we thought. She left behind her parents, Robert Armenta Sonia Diaz, her only Sister, Victoria Armenta.

15, 2002. She was born May 5, 1924 to Annie F. Jack Connelly in Pittsburgh, PA. She married William H. "Bill" Bell in 1941.

They moved to Arizona in 1946. She is the beloved mother of William H. "Bud" Bell (Nancy); Shirley Voita (Mike), Linda Gorman (Dennis), and Carol Corona and cherished grandmother of Michael, James and Clara Voita, Annie Grimes, Amy Hambright, Bill, John Patrick Gorman, P.J., Dan Mark Corona; Billy Bobby Bell and Michelle, Matthew Samantha Evans. She was also blessed with 14 great grandchildren. Betty retired as an executive secretary at Arizona Public Service after a 28 year career.

Upon her retirement she became very active in the APS Retirees Association and served as their first female president. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill. To celebrate Betty's life a Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial mass at 10:15 a.m. at St.

Louis John Bilancini, 87, Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away December 13, 2002. National Cremation Society. Charles Edward Blevins, 81, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away December 16, 2002. Mr. Blevins served in the United States Army.

Private Family Services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Best Funeral Services, Inc. Randy H. Diaz, 45, passed away on December 15, 2002 in a tragic automobile accident in Payson, Arizona. Randy was a native of Arizona born on December 19, 1956.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce, son Jason Diaz, and 1 daughter Melody Diaz. Sisters include Rita Larios, Beverly Diaz, and niece Antonia Chacon. Other siblings include Dorothy, Johnny, Patty, Joyce, Jimmy, and 15 nieces and nephews. Also, ale: ceased family, Jody and Juanita Diaz. Randy will be deeply missed by his family and friends for his loud laughter and humorous jokes.

A 29 year resident of Phoenix, she graduated from Washington H.S. in 1973. She continued on to receive her L.P.N. and R.N. licenses in Nursing from ASU.

She is survived by her husband David L. Durkee of Las Vegas, father Marion "Muck" of Chandier, daughter Robin Gilbert, Powers, sons Richard, Adam and Grant Reynolds of Chandler and 3 grandsons. She was preceded in death by her mother Lenora Powers and brother Robb Powers. Memorial Services are scheduled Saturday, December 21, 2002 11am 1 at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Rd.

Phoenix, Az. Col. Lawrence "Larry" L. Eppley, of Sun Lakes, Arizona, surrounded by his loving family, died Saturday, December 14, 2002 at his home following a six year battle with Alzheimers. He was 75.

Larry was born on May 3, 1927 in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania to the late Lawrence Mary Estella (Grubbs) Eppley, Sr. He was a West Point graduate of the class of 1951. The single, most important part of Larry's four years at West Point, was the Cadet Honor Code. It was to become an all consuming guide and bulwark to every phase of his active and retired military career until his death. He married the former Elvira "Vivian" Pantano on her birthday, June 7, 1951, and most recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.

During his 34 years in the United States Air Force, he served during WWII, The Korean War and The Vietnam War. Following his retirement, he moved to Arizona in 1986. He is survived by his wife: Vivian Eppley; Sons: Wayne (Lorri) Eppley, Michael (Anjaline) Eppley, Gary (Michelle) Eppley; daughters: Karen (Mike) Schmidt, Cheryl (Marc) Hallada, Kathy (Dave) Pettigrew; sisters: Darlene Crider, Dolores (Larry) Phillips; sister-in-law, Joy Eppley; 15 grandchildren and 3 Visitation will be 10 AM Friday, Dec. 20, great 2002 at St. Steven's Catholic Church, 24827 S.

She was a graduate of Wellesley College in 1930, and received a' master's degree in library science from Columbia University.

Barbara lived a rich and full life with her husband of 52 years, Ralph S. Hall, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son and in-law, John and Mary Jane Hall, of Scottsdale, and by her grandson, Christopher S. Hall and his wife, Denise, of Mesa. Also surviving is her great-grand daughter, FaithAnne Christine Hall of Mesa.

Her love of books, her strength, her quick wit, love of chocolate and devotion to family will remain with us forever.
