6, 1968, Fox broke Elgin Baylor's record and scored 64 points in a high school game between his school, Northwestern in Hyattsville; and nearby Oxon Hill. While at Northwestern, Fox, 6 1, 186 pounds, led his team, to two straight Class AA Maryland titles. The BJC freshman averaged 32.2 points per game in 1967 68 as Northwestern breezed to a 22 1 record. The season before he averaged 26 points per game during a 21 1 campaign.
