ZEPEDA, Michael Lee Mary L. Kelson, 78, of Casa Grande, departed on May 3, 2001. Mary Kelson was born on August 6, 1922, in Lexington Kentucky. The daughter of Amanda J. (Mckee) Thacker and Robert Arthur.

Mary Kelson was born a member of The Supreme Council of The House of Jacob where she dedicated her entire life. Mary also worked as a crossing guard for over fifteen years for the Casa Grande Elementary School District where she enjoyed seeing the children safely to school everyday. She was the devoted wife of the late James W. Kelson Sr. From this union came seven children: James W.

Kelson Philip (Letitia) Kelson, Sarah (Buddie) Farris, Timothy (Portia) Kelson, Mishael (Gail) Kelson, Felix Kelson, Lydia (Walter) Winrow. She was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters. She is survived by a sister Ellen Morton of Lexington, Kentucky; a brother James Arthur, Chicago, Illinois; a (sister -in-law) Margaret Heard of Stanfield Arizona; sixteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Thousand Oaks, CA and worked for Lutheran Brotherhood before returning to Arizona to resume what he loved most, teaching. His two children, Heather Jo and Marc Eric are very proud of their father and want him to know how much they love him. He is also survived by his sister Mary of Glendale, AZ, and his two brothers Michael and Tom of Phoenix, AZ and Encinitas, CA respectively.

Heather and Marc would like to thank Mama Althoff of Chandler, AZ for making' the last few years of their father's life so special. She was a very important part of his life. Born to Jessie Grancis Ellen Payne, she was the youngest of nine children and waas born in Shelbyville Kentucky, Sept. 21, 1920. Payne arrived in Phoenix in 1972 after years of locating in Cincinatti Ohio, Houston Texas and numerous other locations. A life time member of Los Amigos del Sol (LADS) she served as an officer and club supporter for over 24 years. As the 3rd recepiant of the Char Humanitarian award for her outstanding contributions to our community, her" involvement with LADS, Womens Crisis Center and People with HIV AIDS was proof of her dedicatio to helping others.

Payne was mother to 100 daughters 100 sons and a friend to countless others. Her presence will be sorrowfully missed. A Celebration of her life will be held Sunday, May 13th, Mother's Day at the Bunkhouse at 3:00 PM. Come join us and celebrate her life. Margaret E.

"Peggy" Peoples, 84, of 648 Folcroft Court, Indianapolis, IN died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday, May 6, 2001, in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born March 11, 1917 in Canal Winchester, OH to Noah Bright and Margarita Smith Nunemaker. She grew up in East Cleveland, Ohio, graduating from Shaw High School in 1935. She played on the women's field hockey team at Ohio University, where she was a business major and a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University in 1939. Peggy began her teaching career in Seville, OH. For 25 years, she taught high school business, typing, shorthand and elementary physical education in Wickliffe, OH. Active in Wickliffe Public School System affairs, she was president of the Wickliffe Library Board. She also remained active in Alpha Xi Delta alumnae affairs and was Province Vice-Chair.

Upon retirement Peggy moved with her husband to Indianapolis, IN, where she volunteered for 25 years at Methodist Hospital in Pediatrics. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian church. Peggy recently, spent her winters in Sun City West, AZ, where she was on the Sun City West Homeowners Board. She traveled extensively with her husband, and especially enjoyed rafting in the Grand Canyon and parasailing in Acapulco in her golden years. She was committed to fitness, taking daily walks of several miles and swimming over one hundred miles in one summer when she was in her mid-70s.

Family was paramount to Peggy, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Corwin Peoples, whom she married on August 14, 1943, one son, Douglas Spencer Peoples of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Nancy Beth Wessinger of Shelburne, one grandson, Spencer Peoples of Scottsdale, AZ; one granddaughter, Megan Wessinger of Grand Rapids, and one sister, Dorothy L. Hamilton of Brownsburg, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 14, 2001 at 3:00 p.m.

at the John Knox Presbyterian Church, 3000 N. High School Speedway, with the Rev. Merrill officiating. Burial will be in Brownsburg, IN Cemetery. The family will greet friends immediately following the services at the church social hall.

She attended Northern Arizona University and ultimately received her degree in education from Arizona State University. She completed her student teaching at Frye Elementary School in Chandler. Renae began her teaching career at Cartwright Elementary School in Phoenix. She and her husband moved to Salem in 1995. She taught Kindergarten and 2nd Grade at Nellie Muir Elementary School in Woodbum, Oregon.

Renae is survived by her husband Kirk of Salem, her parents Anthony Rouch of. Phoenix and Rita Rouch of Gilbert, sister Rhonda Pines of Gilbert, and grandparents Thomas and Jewel Frost of Phoenix. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Sunday, May 13, at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper in Gilbert. A funeral mass will be held at St Timothy's Catholic Church in Mesa at 10 am on Monday, May 14 with interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa.

Peter Demeo, 93, of Phoenix AZ, passed away May 8, 2001. Services to be held in New York. Bill is survived by his wife, Juliet, of Phoenix; daughters Wendy Goodnight, of Aurora, CO. and Lesley Douglas of Phoenix; mother Mildred Douglas of Enumclaw, WA; brother Donald Douglas of The Dalles, OR; sister, Patricia Douglas of Enumclaw, WA; son-in-law, Kenneth Goodnight; and granddaughters Shannon and Brittany Goodnight, all of Aurora, CO. Patricia (Patsy) Ramirez Cummings Doyle, 42, of Tempe Arizona, passed away May 6th, 2001. Patsy was born on August 20, 1958 in Indio California. She was along time resident of Calexico California and also lived in Alamogordo New Mexico before moving to Tempe. She was employed at Empire Machinery in Mesa. She is survived by her loving children Kristina and Peter Gerardo, her husband and partner in crime Brendan, brothers Randy and Raymond, sisters Myrna and Lena and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues that will miss her terribly.

She was preceded into the Lord's arms by her parents Enriqueta and Ramon, brothers Roger and Alex, and late husband Michael. Patsy loved and lived her life to the fullest, always had a smile and cared deeply for everyone. In her late teens, Patsy was stricken with rheumatoid arthritis and despite living with the daily pain of her condition, she always managed to comfort those that needed it, devote many hours to charity and was always there to support family and friends. Her life was a celebration of love, determination, caring and laughter. Her spirit lives in each of us and we are so fortunate to have loved and been loved by her.

A Rosary and memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM, Friday May 11th at Holy Spirit Church in Tempe AZ, with a funeral mass at Holy Spirit Church on Saturday May 12th at 10:00 AM. Ashes will be scattered at a later date. The family requests donations to the Arthritis Foundation in Patsy's name. Patricia Dreger, age 71, passed away on May -9, 2001 in Phoenix, Arizona. Patricia was a member of St.

Jerome Catholic Church and was retired from the Deer Valley School District. She is survived by her husband Theodore Dreger of Phoenix, One sister Barbara Hall of Phoenix and one brother Thomas E. McDonnell of Chicago, Illinois; three grandchildren Thomas E. Dreger, Stacey Brandyberry and Amy Dreger, One great grandson A.J. Brandyberry, and one cousin Mrs.

George F. Bir, George passed away on May 6, 2001 at 9:30 am following a battle with pulmonary fibrosis. George was born in Huntington, Indiana on August 9, 1934 but moved to Tuc '3V son, Arizona in 1948. He always said he was an Arizona native; he certainly loved the state and its people. Many happy hours were spent with family and friends enjoying its beauty.

George graduated from Amphitheater High School and the University of Arizona. George spent 35 years in the roofing industry building a reputation of integrity and plain speaking. He was actively involved in Construction Specification Institute helping others enter an industry he loved and always encouraging them to become. leaders. Marketing was his genius.

He launched several new products and new companies. Survivors include his wife of 13 happy years, Pamela, three dearly loved ohildren, Elizabeth Ryan of Mesa, AZ, George B. Bir of Parker, CO and Michael Bir of Pagosa Springs, CO. He has 9 grandchildren to carry his legacy of love into the future. George was met in heaven by his daughter, KateLyn.

A Mass followed by a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 12th at 9:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Community (1551 E. Dana Ave. Mesa, AZ). In honor of George's "Arizona no neckties! Donald Lee Blodgett, 68, of Mesa AZ, passed away May 9, 2001. Military service: US Army. Arrangements by Bunkers Colonial Chapel. Caryl Boehmer, 63, of Mesa, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2001. Mrs.

Boehmer was a loving wife, devoted mother to her two children and wonderful grandmother to her 6 grandchildren. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving Caryl is her husband of 40 years, Mark A. Boehmer, children Timothy (Heather) Boehmer of Farmington, MN, Jennifer (John) Ziemer of Red Wing, MN, Sister Kaye (Russell) Temple of Mesa, and 6 grandchildren, Nicole, Adam, Alex Boehmer and Jada, Spencer Micah Ziemer. Born on January 14, 1930 in Missoula, Montana, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert W. Bonner, and infant daughter Roberta Lou. Our beloved mother will be deeply missed by her loving family; son Robert W. Bonner, Jr. and Janice 'Chien; son CMSgt Gerald T.

Bonner, USAF retired; son MSgt James P. Bonner, USAF retired, daughter Barbara Khan and son-in-law Najam; daughter Kathleen Lane and son-in-law Bruce; and daughter Mary Shumway. Mrs. Bonner leaves behind five loving grandchildren: Joshua Bonner, Matthew Bonner, Jeanette Khan, Melvin Lai, Christiana Shumway and Jennifer Lane. Mrs Bonner will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Howard Martin Hopps, 84, of Mesa Arizona, passed away May 10, 2001. Services Saturday, May 12th, 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cooley Park Ward, 3345 E. McLellan, Mesa. Norma F.

Hoyt, 91, died May 4, 2001 in Avondale, Arizona. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 14, 10:30 am. from The Church at Litchfield Park, 300 North Litchfield Road, Litchfield Park, Arizona. Graveside services will be held at St. Paul Cemetery, Township of Theresa, Mayville, Wisconsin on June 11, 2001 at 10:30 am.

Mrs. Hoyt was born April 9, 1910, in Mayville, Wisconsin, daughter of Robert and Alma (Zwieg) Marohl. She married O. Earl Hoyt on December 23, 1933 in Waukegan, Illinois. She was a wife, mother, homemaker and active in her community, having been a member of numerous philanthropic organizations including the P.E.O.

sisterhood. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Walter) Piehl of Goodyear, Arizona, son, Robert E. (Chris) Hoyt of Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, one brother, Robert (Lucille). Marohl of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, three grandchildren Christiana, Robert and Timothy Hoyt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, three sisters and her husband, Earl.

Memorials may be directed to the Organ Fund at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, South Walnut and Allen Street, Mayville, Wisconsin 53050; the Alzheimer's Association; or Cottey College, 1000 West Austin Nevada, MO 64772-2790. She worked as a clerk in the gas manufacturing business Lieu for many years. She was a very generous person who loved to do things for her family and friends. She held various offices in the Gila County Cow Bells and was a member of the Gila County Homemakers and the local camera club. Her son, Kerry, preceded Rose in death. Survivors include, her mother, Mary Burchett, husband; Larry, son; Brian, sister's; Margaret Legan and Phyllis Elwood, brother; Bob Thompson.

She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Nick, Shannara, Shay, Shannon. As a child Arden loved to spend her summers on the Voegely farm with her Uncle Ray and Nanny Rose Voegely whom she loved dearly. William J. Arden was a lifelong member of the Tri Delta Sorority. She met and married her husband Edward Michael Boland of 51 years September 1, 1950, and after his graduation they moved to Washington D.C. where Arden worked 3 years for the Office of Professional Standards Department of Health Education and Welfare. Arden and Edward moved to their permanent home in Casper, WY. in 1954.

Together they raised 3 children, Kathlynn Ann Boland, Michael Raymond Boland and Thomas Joseph Boland. She was a dedicated mother and wife, with her family's welfare as her highest priority. Arden loved and lived life to the fullest. She was especially fond of the game of golf, in which she was a fierce competitor. Arden was quite proud of the many tournaments and club championships she won at both of her clubs in Casper and Scottsdale.

She established numerous deep and long lasting friendships on the many courses she played throughout her life. Arden was preceded in death by her father Thomas, mother Zenna, and daughter Kathlynn. She is survived by her husband Edward Boland of Casper, WY. Thomas Boland and Pamela Boland son and daughter in law of Casper, WY. Michael Boland and Michelle Boland son and daughter in law of Casper, WY.

Six grandchildren, Matthew Boland, Jeffrey Boland, Courtney Boland and Kaitlyn Boland of Casper, WY, and Ryan Boland and Joe Boland of Seattle, WA. This kind and gentle, fun-loving lady will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 :00 pm on May 23, 2001 at the Highland Park Community Church, 411 South Walsh Drive in Casper, WY. Memorial Chapel of Casper, WY is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials in Arden's name would be greatly appreciated to either Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
