Kole was an amazing little boy who's spirit touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with. We thank Da rid Dougan, of Phoenix, born May 31, 11, devoted father of Ryland, 12, died Dec. 17, 2000 while riding his motorcycle one last time. A native of California, David moved to Phoenix with Kelly Modre Paint Co, in 1986.

His loved for motorcycles lead him to a sales career with Dirt Street for many years and then to Apache as finance manager. Dave was excited about his recent move rejoining Dirt Street as sales manager. He truly loved riding almost as much as he loved his son and best friend Ryland. David was the beloved son of Sharon Dougan of Capitol and Dennis Dougan of Aptos; loving grandson of Anna Mae Dougan of Scotts Valley California; brother of Kim Eisenbeis of Ste. Genevieve MO, and step father of Sarah and Jon Stava of Phoenix.

He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 21st at 7pm. Please call Dirt Street at 602 864-1437 for details. Contributions may be made to the Ryland Dougan College Fund, Arizona State Savings 10030 N.

Helen Kleinhans, 62, of Mesa AZ, passed away December 18, 2000. Helen was born April 16, 1938 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She was a Homemaker. Jens V. Grano, age 92, of Sun City, AZ, died December 13, 2(XX). Jens was' born Aug. 7, 1908 in Wilmington, Delaware. Soon after the death of his father, he returned to Denmark with his mother, brother and sister.

He remained in Denmark, completing his (education at the University of Copenhagen and obtained a Masters in Elect. Engineering. lens returned to America and remained tor the rest of his life. He held several positions as Engineer with The Penn Dixie Cement Co. and Spenny Gyroscope Co.

in New York and Phoenix. Jens met Winnifred Bruerton in Ogden, Utah and they married June 17, 1945. Jens was a great traveler. He is the only one we know of that went around the world on a motorcycle. He spoke five languages.

He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He is survived by his wife, daughter Joanne Blase, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Member of the 101st Airborne Division, Recipient of the Purple Heart and one of 6 survivors of the Battle of Bastone. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Fixler. She spent the last IVi years in the Beatitudes campus care. She is survived by her son; William Rowe Kent and loving daughter-in-law Doris L. Kent, two grandchildren, Paul West Kent and Kathlyn Kent Reynolds; also 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Marjorie was a member of Arizona Rabakah Lodge 1 for 40 years. At her request there will not be any services. Doris Myrtle French, 88, of Phoenix Arizona, passed away December 18, 2000 and was born April 26, 1912 in Sand Hill, Kentucky. Doris was preceded in death by husband, Tommy; sons, Donald and Harold and grandson, Carter French. Survivors include: nephews, Charles and John French; grandchildren, Renee Juarez, Harold, Tammarah and Andrew French, Sandra Martino, Robert and Becky French; great grandchildren, Donald and Richard Brock, Jennifer Bresano, Adam, April, Ryan, Austin' and Alden French, and Derek Roberts; great great grandchildren, Lacy, Jennifer, Anthony, Michael, Trein, Trian Jenessa: nephews and nieces, Kathryn, James, Linda, Shane and Clint French, Michelle, Jimmy and Nicolas Costanzo and Brandon Beach. Frierson, 90, passed away Dec. 17, 2000. She was born in Lake City, NM and came to Arizona in 1947 from Lake City. She was a 50-year resident of Scottsdale.

Mrs. Frierson was employed with Smitty's as their main switchboard operator for over 20 years. Survivors include her daughter, Donna J. Dodd; son, Dennis T. Frierson; and Zeb Nicole.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert W. Frierson in January of 2000, and her brother, Norman Hoist. Visitation: 9am-11 am, Thursday, Dec. 21 at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Scottsdale.

Garrard, 56, of Peoria AZ, passed away December 8, 2000. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Services were held. in Boaz, Alabama.

Local arrangements were handled by Heritage Funjral Chapel of Peoria. Mabel Abram, 92, of Phoenix Arizona, passed away December 11, 2000 in Se-dona, AZ. Mabel was born in Colfax, Iowa. She retired from Creighton School Dist. after 16 vears.

June Alstad, 86, a winter resident at Towerpoint in Mesa, passed away Friday, December 15, 2000. June had been a winter resident in Mesa for over 20 years from White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She was a member of Velda Rose United Methodist Church the Los Amigos Club. June was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother friend and will be deeply missed lovingly remembered by her daughters, Mary Jan (Simon) Bruce Diana L. Alstad (Joel Kramer); her son, Roger John (Deborah) Alstad; sisters, Eunice' Carlberg Laverne Mitby along with grandchildren.

Abigail Sarah Bruce step-grandchildren, Surya and Lesa Kramer and her many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Orval. A memorial gathering will be on Wednesday, December 20 at at the Sun Shine Room at Towerpoint Resort, 4860 E. Main Mesa.
