Survived by his wife of 52 years Nella; his 4 children; 12 grandchildren and his brother Jim. Chuck was a plumbing contractor who owned and operated Plumbing for 39 years. After raising six children, she returned to school to complete her education and began her second career caring for people as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her family, friends, coworkers and patients loved and respected her. She will certainly be missed.

Margaret is survived by her husband George M. Lopez; daughter AnnaMarie Villa; sons George, Greg, Gabe, Gilbert and Gary Lopez; mother Maria Ramirez; three sisters; three brothers; and nineteen grandchildren. C.B. attended school and graduated from Safford High School Class 1941. He joined the Navy during WWII serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater where he fought in the Battle of Iwo Jima. After the war, C.B. returned to Safford operating the Army National Guard Armory for the next 36 years retiring in 1984 as a Chief Warrant Officer III.

C.B. was a life long Scout Master and Silver Beaver recipient. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving in the Safford 8th Ward. Survivors include his wife of nearly 60 years, Olive of Safford; sons, Gary of Virginia, Randy of Chandler, Mike of Sierra Vista, and Allen of Coolidge; daughters, Jean Patterson of Safford, Diane Hills of Casa Grande, Susan Blake and Lisa Douglas of Safford; sisters, Helen John of Phoenix, Angeline Hancock of Mesa, Edna Rae Montierth of Phoenix; 30 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren also survive. Friends may call Thursday evening from 5-8pm at Caldwell's Chapel of the Valley and Friday morning from 10-1 at the Church.

Hurst, 35, of Phoenix AZ, passed away on March 26, 2001. "Jules" as known by family friends was a loving wife daughter. She will be dearly missed by her husband Fred S. Cooley, 89, of Phoenix Arizona, passed away March 26, 2001. Born January 21, 1912 in Bald Knob, Arkansas.

A Laborer and Maintenance worker for the San Marcos Hotel V. to the Valley 26 I years ago. She was I a baker for Cart- liiiin ir i i iiiitt ii I wright School District and a homemaker. She was married to David C. Flewellen who preceded her in death in 1998.

Her son, Billy, also preceded her in death. Granny is survived by her children: Barbara Miller of Chicago, Kathy Hall, Geraldine Morgan, Dennis, Craig and Selena Flewellen, all of Phoenix; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host bf other relatives and special friends including those from Maryvale Parkway Terrace. She was loved by all those who crossed her path and she will be terribly missed. Moved to Arizona in 1959 and was a part year resident of Jackson, WY and, more recently, Hungry Horse, MO. Gil was a WWII Navy veteran and former N.Y. State Trooper. In recent years, Gil enjoyed golf and time spent with friends. He is survived by his son, Raymond Fox of Swan Valley, MO; daughters, Jill Fox of Rocklin CA and Leigh Young of Tempe AZ; three grandchildren: Cole, Drew and Rees Young; and brother, Edward R.

Theresa's Church, 5045 Thomas Road, Phoenix. Contributions in her name may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Jerry Dale Goad, age 58, passed away on March 26, 2001 in Phoenix. Mr. Goad was born June 8, 1942 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Earl and Lavene Goad.

He moved to Phoenix in 1944. Mr. Goad was employed with V.A.W. Aluminum of Phoenix, and was a United. States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his mother Lavene McDannald of Glendale, One Brother Dean Goad of Glendale, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary 87, of Phoenix AZ, passed away March 27th. Born January 4, 1914 in Beaumont, CA, she moved to Arizona in 1916. Mary is survived by her son, -as for 40 years and retired in 1974. Charles F. Blanton, Former Prescott assistant post master Charles F. Blanton died on March 16. He was 93. One of six children born to Prescott pioneers, Benjamin Martha (Mattie) Blanton.

Charlie worked at the local post office until his retirement in June, 1973. Widowed when Charlie was six years old, Mattie Blanton earned a living with two cows she owned. Charlie would sell milk going door-to-door through town. Later he helped build the older of the two Goldwater Lake dams. During WWII, Army Tech Sgt.

Blanton was stationed in London. There, while attending a performance of Hamlet, he met Elsie Dansey a Defense worker. They were married five months later. Following VE Day, Elsie sailed across the Atlantic Ocean on the Queen Mary, along with hundreds of other war brides, and joined Charlie in Prescott where they lived their entire lives together. Charlie and Elsie celebrated their 55th anniversary last October.

Mr. Blanton was well known for his assistance to the Girl Scouts during the years his daughters wife were active in that organization. He would build the camp fires and make the pancakes while the girls were supposed to be doing it instead, he would tell them to go off and have fun. Charlie was-affiliated with St. Luke's Episcopal Church for 51 years, at times serving as a member of the Vestry.

He helped refurbish the cabins at Chapel Rock Church Camp, and headed the coffee-making and kitchen clean-up crew at many church functions. A "Celebration of Life" service will be held at the church's new sanctuary north of the airport on Highway 69 on March 31 at 2pm. A reception will follow in the parish hall. His remains will be placed in the Memorial Wall adjacent to the church. In addition to his wife, Charlie is survived by daughters Ann Abrams of Mission Viejo, CA and Margi Jacobson of Phoenix; grandchildren Janet and David Abrams and Traci Kevin Jacobsen.

An adopted sister Joan Vallely lives in Prescott. He is preceded in death by each of his brothers, Tom, Bill and Earl, and sisters Ruth Martin and Mary Molner. Donations may be given to St. Luke's Episcopal Church or to a charity of one's choice. and Eternal companion, Shawn.

To those that are her family, her spirit will always be there. To her friends, her remembrance influence will be a great tribute to the special spirit that she is. Families are forever. She is survived by her husband Shawn, her parents Ray Christine McKnight. Her brothers, Mac, Dave, Mark, Joe, Manny, and Billy.

Her sisters, Michelle, Kim, Lorene, Teddie, and Carrie. She was known as a "professional Auntie" to her 27 nieces nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2001 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 15016 N. 39th Ave. at 10am with viewing visitation one hour prior.

John "ZacV Hyler, 17 yrs, of Buckeye, a senior student at Buckeye Union High School, passed away on March 27th, 2001. He had been a member of the wrestling team had loved cars motorcycles. He was looking foward to reporting to the Marine Corps upon graduation.

He is survived by his parents Jeanne Richard Hyler. 3 bros Richard, Christopher, Ira. Maternal grandparents Mr. Mrs. Francis Grogitsky paternal grandfather Herbert Hyler.
