POWELL-FORSBERG In a 7 p.m. candlelight service on May 24, at the Dellrose Church of Christ in Wichita, Miss Tracy Lynn Powell, daughter of Mrs. Connie Jane Powell, Valley Center and Kenneth Forsberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Forsberg, Scandia, exchanged marriage vows.

Cecil Cox officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her brothers, Sgt. William Powell II, U.S.M.C. and Matthew Powell. The bride wore her mother's wedding dress.

Is was a chapel length train gown of ivory bridal satin, trimmed in lace, matching that of the veil. Matron of honor was Mrs. Hollie Jean Harris, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Terry Strait of Scandia, sister of the groom.

They wore matching dresses of pink floral. Best man was Jerry Baker of Scandia. Groomsman was Paul Bakerof Scandia, both cousins of the groom. Vocalist and can- dlelighter was Kaye Lynne Stanley, Valley Center. Ushers were Terry Strait, Scandia, and Paul Albertson, Wichita, both brothers-in-law of the groom.

A reception was held at the Valley Center Community building. Serving were Mrs. Paul Albertson and Michelle West. The couple will live in Wichita at 1101 S. Market.

The groom will attend Wichita S.U. The bride is a legal secretary for the law firm of Arvin, Arvin, Busey and Thomas. Reunions LESOVSKY-KLIMA George Lesovsky and Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Lesovsky hosted a Lesovsky-Klima reunion at the Cuba Legion Hall June 8 in honor of Mr.

THE BELLEVILLE TELESCOPE, Thursday, June 12, 1975 Births 3C YOUNGBLOOD-SAUNDERS Any Age Starting Soon at ROY LINDA RIST West Side Square Belleville Creamed Celery 1 cup water 1 large bunch celery, cut Into Vz-lnch pieces (about 6V2 cups) 24 cup milk 2 tablespoons Argo corn starch teaspoon salt Dash pepper Dash ground nutmeg 3 tablespoons margarine Bring water to boil in 3- quart saucepan over medium heat.

Add celery; cover and cook 10 to 12 minutes or until tender. Stir together milk, corn starch, salt, pepper and nutmeg until smooth. Stir into celery. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and boils 1 minute. Remove from heat.

Stir in margarine until melted. Makes 8 servings. WILLOWDALE 4-H The regular monthly meeting of the Willowdale 4-H club was held June 7 at the 4-H building. The meeting was called to order by the president, Debbie Krotz. The Rydal Rustler also attended this meeting as it was the first meeting of an exchange program between the two clubs.

For the Willowdale meeting, the flag salute and pledge was led by Diane Fry, songs were led by Randy Tallent who also gave a project talk. Leon Ball gave a conservation talk. The meetings adjourned and lunch was served. David Hanzlick, reporter. Rare taste.

Either you have Or you don't. At 8:00 on Friday May 23, the wedding of Miss Linda Youngblood, daughter of Mrs. Louise Youngblood of Deshler, and Elgin Saunders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Saunders of Courtland, took place in Peace Lutheran church at Deshler, Nebr.

The candle light ceremony was solemnized by Pastor Klover. Marvin Engel, of Fairbury, organist played the wedding marches and accompanied Mrs. Frank Taylor of Lawrence who sang. Diane Clyde of Lincoln, attended the guest book. Ushering the guests were Artie Youngblood, brother of the bride, and Merlin Schnackenberg.

Mrs. Merlin Schnackengerg, and Miss Paula Saunders of Courtland, sister of the groom served as matron of honor and bridesmaid. The attendants wore puffed sleeve floor-length gowns of floral pastel-blue crepe polyester trimmed with lace. To accent their dresses, accessories included white picture hats, white gloves and shoes. They each carried a long stem-light blue mum trimmed with white ribbon.

The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Clarence Grueber of Hubbell, Nebr. chose a gown of A-line style made of acetate lavishly trimmed with cotton, nylon and rayon lace. The long sleeved gown was pleated with short Juliet style oversleeves, collar, cuffs, hemline and a full length chapel train. Her headpiece was an open front style cap of cotton and nylon lace with a bouffant three tier nylon tulle veil. Her bouquet was a cascade made of blue and white carnations accented with baby's breath.

Bestman and groomsmen were Duane Saunders of Courtland, brother of the groom, and Royce Tallent of Belleville. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Grueber of Hebron, aunt and uncle of the bride served as hosts in the Peace Lutheran Parish Hall. They were assisted by Mrs.

Elia Grueber, of Hubbell, aunt of the Moms, Miss Carla Grueber, cousin of the bride, Miss Kristine Bartling, Mrs. Dale Stafford of gcandia, aunt of the groom, and Mrs. Harold Carpenter of Superior, cousin of the groom. Helping at the gift table were Miss Barb Bruegger, Mrs. Bernie Lease, Miss Wilda Yung and Miss Nancy Ebsen, all of Superior.

The bride is a 1967 graduate of Deshler high school, and a 1971 graduate of Doane college and will be employed as 1-2 grade teacher in the Courtland schools this fall. The groom is a 1963 graduate of Courtland high and is currently engaged in farming. After a short newlyweds will be living near Superior till the fall when they will be moving near Courtland. A daughter, Kimberly Dawn, born to Mr. and Mrs.

Don Harding, May 21, 1975. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Harding, Belleville and Mrs. Laurene Kennedy, Haddam.

A great-grandmother is Mrs. Millie Stransky of Cuba. A son Patrick Charles, bom May 20 to Mr. and Mrs. John C.

Dillman, of Tucson, Ariz. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Simmons and Mr. and Mrs.

John C. Dillman, all of Douglas, Ariz. Great- grandparents are Mrs. Mercedes Dillman of Douglas, Mrs. Ethel Simmons of Courtland and Mr.

and Mrs. Elmer Loring of Scandia. Mr. and Mrs. Brad Dayhuff of Fairbury, a son, Gregory Allen, born June 5.

Mr. and Mrs. James A. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, June 1. Miss Emma Washburn and Jim Hill were married May 30, 1925.

She explained how we should clothe ourselves in the garments of compassion, humility, kindness, gentleness and patience and receive these in faith.

Mrs. Huetta Derowitsch gave the devotions from Peter Marshall and Marjorie Holmes books. The women met June 5 for a morning coffee with the executive committee as hostess. The business meeting closed with scripture. SOCIAL CIRCLE MEETS The Social Circle met at the home of Mrs.

W. B. Fry, June 4, with 12 members and two guests answering roll call. Mrs. Richard Alkire, president conducted the business meeting and assisted by her daughter Brenda led the group in three games.
