DA'S REPORTS The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Mendocino County District Attorney's Office: SENTENCING On Friday, Judge Ronald Brown sentenced George Louis Barraza, 30, of Morgan to seven years in state prison following the defendant's convictions for transporting methamphetamine while armed with firearms and for possession for sale of marijuana.

The defendant was already serving a prison sentence for violation of probation out of Santa Clara County. On May 4, 2000, an officer with the California Highway Patrol stopped Barraza for speeding. The stop occurred on South Highway 101 just North of Hopland. The officer found a half pound of methamphetamine, nearly, a pound of marijuana and three firearms in Barraza's car, along with almost $6,000 cash and evidence that the defendant was involved in drug sales. The officer determined that the defendant was on tion in Santa Clara County for a felony drug offense and that the defendant was on his way back to Morgan Hill from Femdale with the drugs when he was stopped.

Following his arrest in Mendocino County, officers contacted a narcotics task force in Santa Clara County. Additional evidence linking the defendant to drug sales was found in Barraza's Morgan Hill home. LOTTERY NUMBERS DAILY 3: Friday 9, 6, 5. Saturday 5, 9, 9. FANTASY 5: Friday 3, 11, 14, 36, 37.
