Saturday, Meldrum Mortuary 52 N. Macdonald Mesa. Egmont A. Egerer, 85, of Litchfield Associated Press ESPANOLA, N.M. Jim a writer of bilingual stories and poems in English and Spanish, was found dead Monday.

He was 50. Mr. Sagel, who wrote 17 books of poetry and prose, was found by a state Game and Fish officer at a game refuge north of Socorro. A suicide note was found nearby. Mr.

Sagel wrote about his experiences in New Mexico for more than two decades and received numerous literary awards, including Premio Casa de las Americas, an international Spanish language prize. He was the first non-Spanish author to win the El Premio Literario Ciudad de San Sebastian award for the best play written in Spanish. BRUNO Raymond P. Bruno, loving husband, father and grandfather, 61, passed away quietly at home with his family on April 7, Award in 1984 for editing and publication of the book La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, 1733-1983. In 1996, he was given the New Mexico Endowment for Humanities' Excellence. Jf Anatole Dauman, producer of French New Wave films PARIS Anatole Dauman, who discovered a number of French New Wave directors and went on to produce films by Wim Wenders and others, has died. He was 73.

The date or cause of death was not released. He produced films with several directors who developed the New Wave movement, which arose in the 1 950s around the idea that the decline of French cinema stemmed from a lack of fresh ideas among the country's "old guard" directors. Mr. Dauman produced, among other movies, Night and Fog (1956) and Hiroshima Mon Amour (1958), both by director Alain Resnais, and Masculin, Feminin (1966) by Jean-Luc Godard. With director Nagisa Oshima, Dauman produced Empire of the Senses (1976).

Three years later, he collaborated with director -Volker Schloendorff on The Tin Drum. He also worked closely with Wenders, producing Paris, Texas (1984), "The Wings of Desire" (1987) and Until the End of the World 199 1 France named him Chevalier of the Legion of Honor Commander of Arts and Letters, and he was decorated for his involvement in the Resistance. Seth Thomas, keeper of clock tower CLEVELAND Seth R. Thomas, a sixth-generation descendant of a 19th-century clockmaker and a keeper of timepieces, died April 6 of prostate cancer. He was Mr.

Thomas was the keeper of the Seth Thomas Tower Clock in Ravenna, Ohio, and was instrumental in having a clock tower included in plans for the Hiram College Library that opened in 1995. 1998. He was born on April 13, 1936, the son of Philip and Rose Bruno of Cincinnati, OH. Polk Phoenix, AZ 85007. Raymond is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley Ann Bruno; sons, Bruce Raymond Bruno and Mark Raymond Bruno and daughter, Beth Ann Bruno. He was the beloved "Pop Pop" to seven grandchildren, Mandy, Buddy, Rosa, Megan, Nick, Joe and Anthony. Christine Brown, 58, of Phoenix, a home-nwiker, died April 6, 1998. Survivors include her husband, John daughter, Meredith Henry; sons, Crismon and Raymond lived a life of integrity, passion for his work, and unconditional love for his family and friends.

He worked in service to the Catholic Church in the area of music publishing in Cincinnati, OH before branching out on his own and starting his own company, North American Liturgy Resources in 1970. Raymond sensed a need for contemporary worship resources after Vatican II, and pooled all of his resources to back a small group of composers of liturgical music. This was the beginning of NALR, which flourished over 24 years to become one of the largest and most respected publishers of liturgical music. Raymond moved his family to Phoenix in 1974, reaching for a breath of sunshine for his family and seizing the opportunity to be closer to west coast connections for his business. It was here that Raymond became not only a prominent leader in the business community, but an advocate for many local and national charitable organizations.

He was a strong supporter of the American Easter Seals Society, United Way and var Marilyn Anitia Jacobs, 44, of Glendale, a private duty nursing assistant, died April 4, 1998. Rappleyea, 68, of Phoenix, a retired carpenter, died April 7, 1998. Survivors include her husband, Anthony; daughters, Mar-Racuuel; son, An- was president-elect of the Phoenix chapter, but was forced to resign this honor due to illness. He retired from the publishing field in 1994 to spend more time with his wife, quite, Anntwan and thony mother, Vera Jenkins; sisters, children and grandchildren.

Raymond's favorite pastimes were golf and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered most for his love, his determination, and his ability to make dreams come true for himself and for those whom he loved. Visitation will be Saturday, April 1 1th 1998 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Messinger Mortuary Chapel.
