They also have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

They have four children: Steven of Columbus, Ohio; Sheryl Ellis of Vancouver, Craig of Liberty, and Randy of Florence, Ky. They also have 10 grandchildren. Eldon Miller was a customer service representative for United Airlines. Jane Miller was a clerk for Lynn Pharmacy. They both retired in 1990.

The couple met at a roller rink in Des Moines. Paul and Doris Poublon Paul and Doris Poublon (formerly Doris Kay) of Sun City West celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 29 with a dinner. The couple was married May 29, 1948, in Patterson, N.J. They moved to Arizona in 1990. The couple have two children: Gail Wieland of Redding, and Lori Driscoll of San Jose.

They also have four grandchildren. Paul Poublon was a manager for Becton Dickinson Co. He retired in 1990. The couple met as children living on the same street in Patterson. Carol Rees Aaron Williams Carol Rees and Aaron Williams were married June 1 1 at the Mormon Arizona Temple.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Rees of Peoria. The groom is the son of Thomas and Carol Williams of Glendale. The couple met at a homecoming party for Aaron.

Waymon and Oleta Usry Waymon and Oleta Usry (formerly Oleta Carpenter) of Chino Valley celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Sept. 9 with a family dinner. The Usrys were married Sept. 9, 1943, in Tempe. They have one child: Gen-Dene Moreno of Phoenix.

They also have two granddaughters. Waymon Usry was a carpenter and a building inspector. He retired in 1988. Oleta Usry was a manicurist and homemaker. They met in Phoenix as children when their mothers worked together.

Valarie Simmons Lanny Stone Valarie Simmons and Lanny Stone were married May 23 at the Southwest Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Amarillo, Texas. The bride is the daughter of Kenneth Simmons of Amarillo. The groom is the son of Jan Stone of Denver. The couple were introduced by a mutual friend. They will live in Peoria.

Paul and Julie Ferraris Paul and Julie Ferraris (formerly Julie Presutto) of Scottsdale celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 27 with a dinner. The Ferrarises were married June 27, 1948, in Hackensack, N.J. They moved to Arizona in 1978. They have three children: Patricia of Tempe; Robert of Little Silver, N.J.; and Steven of Honolulu. They also have two grandchildren.

Paul Ferraris was self-employed for Superior Motors. He retired in 1978. Julie Ferraris is a homemaker. The couple met in Hackensack at a dance. Harry and Evelyn Deacon Harry and Evelyn Deacon (formerly Evelyn Krenke) of Scottsdale celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March with a trip to Florida provided by their children.

The Deacons were married June 26, 1948, in Union, N.J. They moved to Arizona in 1 962. The couple have three children: Robert of Tempe; Richard of Montpelier, Idaho, and Scottsdale; and Nancy Janssen of Scottsdale. They also have five grandchildren. Harry Deacon was a store director for Bashas'.

The bride is the daughter of Arturo and Marina Robles of Phoenix. The groom is the son of Lillian Phillips and the late Hank Phillips of Jackson, Mich. The couple met at a St. Patrick's Day celebration in Savannah, Ga. They live in Cairo, Egypt.

The couple have two children: Paula Kenzora of St. Louis; and Michael of South Lake, Texas. They also have four grandchildren. Paul Huska was a traffic manager for Whitaker Cable Company in Kansas City, Mo. Marie Huska was co-owner of Huska's Retail Liquors.
