was a Mr. Archer hember of the Ensign Ward, phurch of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Mr. Archer was born Jan. 4, 1896, in Salt Lake City, a fson of William and Emma fArcher.

He married Ella Cal- istcr July 11, 1917, in Los fAngeles. Survivors include his widow a son, Frank C. Archer, three grandchildren, Salt ake City; a brother and three sisters, Charles W. Archer of Los Angeles; and Mrs. W.

H. (Birdie) Olmsted, Mrs. Frank (Lou) Squires and Mrs. Ruth A. Haddow, all of Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will bo conducted Saturday at noon at 260 E. South Temple where friends may cal! Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Funeral Rites Friday for Crash Victim Special to The Tribune BEAVER Funeral services tor Mrs. lone Muir Yardley, 26, will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the First-Third Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Beaver.

Mrs. Yardley was killed Tuesday in a one-car accident 14 miles west of Paragonah. on U.S. Highway 91. She was born April 26, 1931, at Beaver, daughter of James C.

Caarleae Police Retain 3 Teens in Market Theft Three teen-agers were appre- lended by police Wednesday morning when they rifled a safe at Boy's 702 E. 1st South, and lied after striking the store manager. Two of the boys, age 15 and 16, entered the market about 9:23 a.m. and diverted the manager's attention while their 16- year-old companion approached the safe. The manager, Richard Harding, told police he heard the safe door click and saw the 16-year- old stuffing currency in his pockets.

One of the other boys shouted Diggers," and Mr. Harding: ordered the youth to put the money back In the safe. teen-ager struck the-man ager and ran to the rear of thi store, circled, and headed for thi front door.
