marked gains for the six months ending In June Sylvester Cannon church presiding bishop reported at an Aaronlc priesthood conference Saturday afternoon in the assembly hall For the first time the six month report included separate figures regarding activity of adults holding the Aaronlc priesthood Work among this group showed rapid gains with many advanced to the Melchlzedek priesthood Bishop Cannon reported that 11-884 Aaronlc priesthood members a new record now lire doing work as ward teachers The number of adult supervisors for youths holding the lesser priesthood also reached a new high with 970 wards having a full quota of Aaron-ic priesthood supervisors and the remaining 104 wards having one supervisor all that is needed In many cases because of the size of such wards Quorum
