Flower Phoenix, AZ 85014-9297. Botimer Funeral Home. SARAH ANN PASSMORE Sarah Ann Passmore, 56, died December 3, 1997 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, AZ, after a long lingering illness. She was bom April 14, 1941, in Elwood, Indiana, daughter of the late William A. Wolf and Martha Ruth Wolf.

She was con' firmed into St. John's Lutheran Church, Elwood, Indiana, in 1955. She attended Washington Grade School, graduated from Wendell Wilkie High School in 1959. She played in the band, was a majorette and twirler in Jr. High and High School.

She was also active in drama and all school activities. The Wolf family moved to Arizona in 1959. She was employed at Motorola and Kaiser Electronics. On December 27, 1960, she married Rodney Passmore, of Elwood, Indiana and they had 3 Children. She had been a cubscout leader, and was a member of St.

Andrew's Lutheran Church for 20 years. She taught Kindergarten as a teacher's aide at William C. Jack School, Unit 5, Glendale for 20 years. Due to failing health she had to retire in 1996. During that time at school, she was instrumental in organizing the Kindergarten Spring Fall Programs.

She received awards for her outstanding achievements from the Glendale District Office. All the Children loved her and she loved being with them. A tree dedication took place in September of 1996 by William C. Jack School. She is survived by her husband, Rodney, mother, Martha Ruth Wolf, 2 daughters, Dawn Lynn VanLiew, and Alice Lee Sirochman, of Phoenix, one son, Scott Allan Passmore of Charleton, MA, 4 Granddaughters and 1 Grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda, daughter, Janine K. Adams, son, William Robert Adams, daughter-in-law, Rebecca, and one grandson, Tanner Jon. Bill was born in Prairie Grove, Arkansas on July 30, 1919. He attended public school there and later Phoenix College in Phoenix. He joined the Marine Corps in January 1939, and spent 4 years as a Prisoner of War in Japan.

He and his beloved wife, Wanda were married in January 1949, and spent 49 years together. He was active in community affairs, the Masonic Order, and was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was always a good example of work, honesty and service to family, church, and country. He had many hobbies and activities which he generously shared with others. Fly fishing, golf, exercise program and gardening.

He was deeply loved and respacted and will be profoundly missed by his family and-friends. Visitation was held on Friday, December 5 from P.M. at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road, with services Saturday, December 6 at 10:00 A.M., in the Chapel at First United Methodist Church, 5510 N. Central Ave.
