The concert, on Saturday, was held at the Clearvlew Consolidated School, Loraln-co. embracing gruda students from Bellevue.

Fremont Elyria. Lorain, and other Four Students from New London accompanied by their director, Nathan Rosenthal. attended the concert. Two of the group received the highest rating" talnable in thia type of music, and the remaining- two received rating3 of "Excellent." second only to "Superior." Those attending- were; Miss E'H-n Grisslng-er. New London, who won a "Superior" rating with i'er exce rendition of the piano solo, "Tarantella (Heller); Miss Noima Luxon.

Fltchville. "Excellent', with the selection. "Student Concerto No (Selts) for violin: Paul Sackett. Fltchville. "Excellent." playing "Marsh OM (Vander Cook; for trumpet: and Mies Joanne wick.

Sullivan. with the violin solo, "Accolade Miss Dorothy Luxon rarrled off honors with her excellent ranylng- for her sister. Miss Norma and for Mr. Sackett. Each winner was given a certificate of award in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.

The most noticeable and outstanding- feature connected with the appearance of the local group was fact that none of the four musicians had ever made an appearance of this kind in any kind of competition. YOUNG GREEN SPRINGS, March Charles D. Young, 86, died Sunday morning at his home In Ballville- tp, following a lingering illness.

Mr. Young was born In Wjakers- ville, on Nov. 6, 1853, the sou of Abraham and Liza Sam Younir. When a very small boy he moved to Seneca-co with his family where he resided until after he was married when he took up residence in Ballville-tp. On Jan.

Stoll, died In Tuscon, Saturday momtng following an Illness since June 1938. A son of Charles and Mathilda Stoll, of 305 E. Maln-st, the deceased was born In this city on Jan. 11, 1914. He received his education in Bellevue, being a member of the graduation class of 1931.

He received his master of arts degree in Ohio State University and for two years was a member of the teaching faculty In the Lewlstown. schools. On Christmas day, 1937, he was married to Miss Winifred Gormley also a teacher at Lewlston. After spending several weeks at Bellevue Hospital he went to Tuscon tn an effort to regain his health. Besides the widow, he leaves his parents, and one sister.

Mrs. Margaret Maher of Avon Lake. Services wilt be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 p. m. at the family home and at 3:30 at the Evangelical Church.

The Rev. F. A. Firestone, pastor of the church will officiate. The local Masonic body will be In charge of the burial service at Bellevue Cemetery.
