A new serial. Mist of Error, will be broadcast by 2BL during the City Extra program from April 27. ABC executives decided to produce the new serial because of the success of Emma's Way. which was broadcast as an experiment during City Extra. A spokesman for the ABC said that Emma's Way was the first new serial for many years to be produced using actors playing specific roles.

"We have previously used an actor to read a play." he said. "With Emma's Way we experimented by reintroducing actors to play specific roles within a serial format. "Emma's Way was of the soap opera type. Mist of Error is a new thriller by Shan Benson. "The main characters will be played by John Dcrum and Fay Kelton." Mist of Error is the story of a man who knows too much about the operations of an illegal gambling syndicate.
