Donald and Kathy Motes, Jewell, had their newborn baby, Karey, taken to Children's Mercy Hospital Monday, because the has one of the area's best-equipped nurseries for babies with medical problems. Stewart, president and chief operating officer of ElDorado and president and CEO of Honorbuilt Industries, Inc. said the new company will be more conservative with sales projections and will have a smaller work force. He said he would expect an average employment of 132 persons, building up to 195 persons by 1995.

Other principals involved in the planned acquisition are Michael D. Wedel, rado's vice president of marketmg and Honorbuilt's new chief operating officer; Richard M. Muller, vice president of finance and chief finaincial officer for rado who will serve in the same role for Honorbuilt; Dennis Shaw, vice president of sales for ElDorado and vice president of sales and marketing for built, and -K. They celebrated Mrs. Houdek and Louis Trecek's birthdays and attended the Royals gams. At Lawrence, they visited Greg and Doug Houdek. Mr. and Kfrs.

and Mrs. Edward Dutton, Belleville, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Chopp and Christine, Ekie Klima, Cuba. Community Economic Development will offer a workshop on creating and maintaining non-profit organisations for rural community development in Concordia on October 26 from 8:30 to 4 p.m.

at Cloud County Community College. The workshop presenters are from the Kansas Legal Services's Rural Development Team consisting of attomeys and other professional staff who have a combined experience of more than 40 years working with non-profit organisations. The workshop will provide all legal materials needed to set up a non-profit organisation for economic development and the presenters will discuss legal issues which communities may encounter.
