SAN SABA (Texas) NEWS JULY 18, 1957 BEA TURNER RITES FRIDAY Funeral services for Miss Beatrice (Bea) Turner, 66, were conducted at 4 m. Friday, July 12, at the Howell-Doran Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. D. D.

Greer of Comanche officiating. Miss Turner, a native of Alabama, who had lived here since early childhood, died at 7 a.m. on July 10 at San Saba Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. J.

D. Hulme. Allen is survived by his wife, the former Altie L. Taylor; two irothers, Torn Allen of Llano and Frank Allen Sr. of San Sabu; and three sisters, Mrs.

Key and Mrs. Minnie Bolinger, both of Llano, and Mrs. Dennie Cox of Antelope. A native of Tow in Llano county, Allen was born May 2, 18S8, being the son of William Morton Allen and the former Sarah Morgan. He.

had lived in this county for more than 40 years. He became a member of the High Valley Baptist Church in 1948. Pallbearers were Emit Peavy, Julian Millican, Leonard Coffrrran, Tom Howell, Ausley Lackey, Tom Holcomb, Douglas Keeney and Truett Gage. C. Campbell at Howell-Doran Chapel, San Saba. Mrs. Campbell was, before marriage, Nora Walker, called by her many friends "Miss Nora." Mrs. Campbell met death in her car in collision with a pickup car in the streets of Cherokee a few nights ago.

She will be missed. G. T. Etter and sister, Mrs. Juanita Etter-Balch and son, Bill, of Hawthorne, who are visiting with their aunts, Misses Bobbie and Jane McKown, visited with Misses Laura and Amy Sloan Sunday afternoon.

D. Lindsey and Vicki and Audrey, also of Fort Worth. RITES MONDAY FOR MRi JONES Funeral services' for Mrs. Joe Jones, 62, of San Saba, were conducted Monday, July 15, at 10 a.m. at the Chappel church, with the Rev.

W. L. White officiating. Mrs. Jones, Mary Ellen (May) Phelps, died Saturday at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston.

Surviving are her husband; ten children, Mrs. Oliver Hawkins of Llano, Clarence Jones of San Saba, Mrs. Alvin Lusty of Fort Worth, Mrs. Lewis Casbeer of Ft. Worth, Raymond Jones of Brownfield, Earnest Jones of San Saba, Doss Jones of Somerset, Bermuda, Mrs.

Haynes Bumham of San Saba, Mrs. R. H. Wood of Los Angeles, and Kenneth Guy Jones of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Mrs.

W. H. Self of Post and Mrs. Jim Keeney of Grants, N. and 27 grandchildren.

A native of Flatonia where she was born March 24, 1895, Mrs. Jones had bepn a resident of this for about 43 years. She I was a member of the Baptist church.
