5 30: The bung Doctors (Rpt). Programs supplied by TV channels. for Paris has not yet fallen and the song could not by then have been conceived. A grinning pianist vamps his way through the apparently familiar chorus while Collins ripples away at her enraptured amour, an Italian general, and George Hamilton looks on, flashing a perfectly ghastly line in introductory smiles, which he hopes will do the trick. It does, but not before the heavily be-medalled general (amusingly played by Philip Madoc) has had an uncomfortably clanking clash with the Collins' frontispiece in an utterly stupid bedroom scene.

Champagne, luxury and gasoline flow through these Gestapo-ridden days and as Gorgeous George takes the first lunge at those vintage Alexis lips, a late-model 1980s yacht wafts, by, cruising the dappled waters of the Mediterranean at war. Unspeakable crud. Robin Oliver Subtitles, for the hearing-impaired. DEADLY INTENTIONS On Seven at 830 pm THE ONLY thing that stops one from saying that the makers of this piece are truly sick is that it is allegedly based on a true story. That makes one pause for 30 seconds before saying that the makers of this piece are truly sick.

Still, a bit of sickness often doesn't go astray in building tension in a thriller about a marriage that begins to go very wrong. Set in the early 70s, giving us a range of body shirts that may send some squeamish viewers screaming from their lounge rooms, Deadly Intentions looks at the ill-fated liaison between the. innocent leather-, ine Livanos and a young doctor, Charles Raynor. The couple marry after a brief fling that involves two dinner parties, a kiss on the cheek and a handshake. MONTE CARLO On Ten at 830 pm.

WE'VE all sung along with K-K-K-Katies or K-K-K-K-Mart, or whoever it is, while the same girl is seen, severally suited in the space of a 60-second commercial. Monte Carlo is rather like that, only it extends over an appallingly generous amount of time (four hours, two nights) and offers, mostly, Joan Collins in a variety of costume changes. No two scenes in the same togs as Collins does her bit to win the war as a part-time spy, part-time social butterfly and full-time flirt. She also sings, choosing a famous tune, The Last Time I Saw Paris, for an impromptu performance in a Monte Carlo nightclub. Forget the heaving bosom and the passionately fluttering eyelashes (all remarkable), this is an amazing feat, ma: News.

Stalder. Sam Thomas. 6.30. tarn 7am News Basically, Katherine knows nothing about a man who has the psycho tabs stamped crudely across his forehead. After the marriage, Raynor who we learn has an insipid, overly dependent relationship with his mother begins to display his weirdness in all sorts of unsociable ways.

He takes photographs of his wife screaming at a huge spider looming nearby, or swimming frantically from a crocodile in an isolated creek. Determined to make the marriage work (hard to believe, I know), Katherine stays with hubby until she believes that the life of their son is in danger. Tonight's episode ends with her making a tense dash to the airport and apparent escape. The suspense during this sequence works well. The second part, to be.
