Plan unit to consider Katz plat LOS ANGELES The preliminary plat of the David E. Katz subdivision will be considered during a special meeting of the DeK alb Plan Com- mission Wednesday night. Jackson, 802 Kimberly Drive, was stopped in his car in the 1000 block of Normal Road at 11:49 p.m. for a loud muffler, police said. A record check showed hisdriver's license was not valid, police said, and also that he was wanted by city police on a deceptive practice charge. Jackson posted a $100 bond for the deceptive practice charge, and $25 bond for the invalid driver's license charge. Incidents result in battery charges DeKalb police Sunday night charged two DeKalb residents with battery in two separate incidents Leonard Franklin, 24, of Haish was arrested for battery and also for criminal damage to property after he allegedly slapped Rosemary Benson, 22, of the same address at about 6:30 p.m. Police said Bertha S. Breunlin, 88, 322 N. Main died Oct. 10, 1976, at the Shabbona Nursing Home. She was born April 21, 1888, in Bremen, the daughter of James and Ellen (Bechtel) Snyder, She married H. J.

Breunlin on Nov. 24, 1909, in Bremen. They moved to Sycamore in 1921. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church for 46 years. Survivors include two sons, Rodney, Sycamore, James, Ormond Beach, six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, one sister, and one grandson. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tues- Man charged after accident A 28-year old Somon- auk man was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident Friday evening after the car he was driving left the road, struck an electric pole and flipped over on County Line Road, three miles west of Gletty Road. DeKalb County Sheriff's police said Joseph P. Sherman was driving his car west bound on County Line Road at approximately 5:48 p.m.

Police said Sherman went into a ditch to avoid striking another car. After the car went into the ditch, police said, the car struck an electric pole, flipped over and came to rest on the car's roof. The car was a total loss. Sherman was taken to Sandwich Community Hospital for treatment. Clegg ESMOND Evelyn J. Clegg, 96, former Esmond and Chicago resident, died Oct. 10, 1976, at the DeKalb County Health Center. She was born Oct. 3, 1880, in South Grove township, the daughter of Daniel and Laura (Raymond) McMurchy.

Survivors include one son, Laverne, Kirkland; one grandson; and two great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her Man released from hospital after accident David M. Sitzes, of. 930 S. Fourth DeKalb, was treated and released from Kishwaukee Community Hospital early Saturday morning after he apparently fell asleep at the wheel and went into a ditch at Somonauk and Barber-Greene roads.

DeKalb County sheriff's police said Sitzes was traveling south on Somonauk when the accident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. For 26 years most residents in DeKalb County have not been sure what the Coroner does to earn his paycheck.
