THE AGE, Wednesday, October 18, 1978 13 in the 99 AtrMe-ftonted house suburbs seemed bonn Jenny Gunston on Peterswood, Doncaster. ii" imi" It's a bit of an adventure for us Although we never see our neighbours, I guess that might change when all the houses are occupied But then again perhaps it won't." PETERSWOOD PETER ST, DONCASTER. Mr. and Mrs. B.

A. Gunston. Doncaster Rd i NORTH YUNCKEN Renshaw St "We wanted something different A house that had all the mbd-cons, but different. We walked into this house and said, we'll take it. We were so sick of seeing reasonable, not exciting, but reasonable houses on the weekends, and thinking how could they possibly put that carpet down? Or those tiles? But the people who chose the carpets and tiles for these houses did a marvellous job.

They blend beautifully. The landscapes did a great job too. I love driving in here in the evenings and seeing the beautiful big gums and the green grass. It feels good coming home. Aside from the central heating, the garbage disposal, the laundry, the en-suite bathroom, the spare rooms, double garage, location handy to the freeway, one of the big deciding things for us was the design of the house.

It's spacious and differendy designed. We wanted to live well. And any other house comparable to this on a standard block of land was a good $20,000 to $30,000 more. But most of all we wanted a house we could live in, not spend time having to work in. 1 HOMES J.

Peterswood This house is easy. It's low maintenance. We've got a good sized back-yard for barbecues and sunbaking that doesn't give us a lot of work. My husband and I work all week and we like to relax on the weekends. Not have to worry about things.

Not spend the weekend mowing and weeding gardens. We don't have to worry about a nice looking front because there is no front as such And we don't have to worry about keeping up appearances because nobody can see in. But I've got to say our friends and fany thought we were mad at first. They imagined identical units one after the other. Now that they've been here, theyie most impressed.
