The Lakota church enjoyed having him as speaker for the morning service at their 50th anniversary and again Sunday morning. October 27. Mrs. Hutohinson passed away two years ago last spring at Pierson and her sister, who had made her home with them for many years remains with him. Mr. Hutohinson has a son, Sheldon Hutchinson, and family living in Algona. They were guests of the J. H. Warburtons while here. C. Darnauer of Dubuque, who expects to spend several weeks here. Otto and Arthur ' Stuckman and Paul and Albert Stuckman, sons of Arthur, visited a few days early last week with the A. C. Klockcs. The men are cousins of the Klockes and live in Newton, Wis. . Last week Sunday visitors at the Frank Lewis home were Mr. Jmd Mrs. Chris Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sanders, all of JSagle Grove. The women are ; nieces of Mr. Lewis. Other -feucsts there were the Wilson aBrocks of Lcdyard and the Hugh '•Lewises of Lakola. I Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gutknecht, Miss Emma Gutknecht and Mrs. Jerry Hoetland drove to Mason City last week Wednesday afternoon to attend a meeting at the Congregational church to hear E. Stanley Jones, noted evangelist, who was there for a week's meetings under sponsorship of the ministerial association. The Rev. H. E. Hutchinson and Frank Holyer, Picrson, la., who were guests at the J. H. Warbur- tons, Mrs. A. T. Buckels and Mrs. J. H. Warburton attended the sixth annual meeting of the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Algona district of N. W. Iowa Conference at the Methodist church at Estherville, Monday, October 28, and report a very fine event. Reports were given by the officers and the new officers for 1947 were installed. ' Vincent Ellman Weds Vincent Ellman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Korse Ellman Lakota, and~ Delores Johnson of Algona were married October 22 at Elmore, Minn. Vincent is employed at the J. E. Ukena Implement shop and they will make their home here.
