The woman had gone to bed about 10:30 p.m. and awoke sometime during the night when she heard a noise in her house in the 8100 block of North 35th Avenue. When she stirred, she was grabbed by one man, and a pillow was placed over her face while one of the men sexually assaulted her. During the attack, one man put a gun to her side and demanded to know where she kept her money. 29, 1993. was born in Greece. During World War II, he served as a special representative to the U.S. Treasury Department for the sale of war bonds for Illinois. He also was appointed to the U.S.

Department of Commerce as a special delegate to Greece by then-President Johnson. Later, he served as director of financial institutions for Illinois and as district governor and supreme vice president of the Order of AHEPA.
