Burnum Burnum a member of the stolen generation rose to prominence through his involvement in the Aboriginal tent embassy outside Federal Parliament during the 1970s and '80s, and his planting of an Aboriginal flag atop England's white cliffs of Dover during Australian bicentennial celebrations in 1988.
