It seema like every one in Hearne is busier than ever this year with holiday plans. Each year people discover new ways to express the way they feel at Christmas. It's a wonderful and exciting time when folks everywhere add new expressions of good will to the traditional Spirit of Christmas. Yet, over the years, nothing has ever quite replaced the satisfaction of personally exchanging greetings with loved ones and friends at Christmas, This helps explain the' growth of a modern-day Christmas tradition: the Long Distance phone call.

Beginning on Christmas Eve, and throughout Christmas day, some 16 rail- lion people exchange greetings by Long Distance. In making holiday calls, here's an idea that will help you extend the joy of Christmas over the entire holiday season. Place your Long Distance calls station- to-station instead of person-to-peraon. This way you can make almost three calls for the price of two. You save even more when you call on Sundays or after 6 p.

m. on weekdays. And, if you space your calls over the whole Christmas season, you'll find that each one seems to renew your holiday spirit and pleasure. Whenever you call, your call will go through faster v. hen you use the area code number for the out-of-town phone you wish to reach.

These numbers are listed in the telephone directory.
