Rosella Sthckert Bride in Candlelight Rites Central Lutheran Church, Edgerton, was the setting for the wedding of Rosella Eve Strickert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Strickert, Rte. 4, Janesville, and Roger Olin Tofsland, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Melvin Tofsland, Rte. 1, Edgerton. The Rev. J. R.

Hestenes read the candlelight ceremony at 8 p.m. Saturday. The bride's gown combined a hand-clipped chantilly lace bodice with a floor-length tulle skirt. Tiny satin bows detailed the lace panels on the skirt. Peau d' ange fashioned the sabrina neckline.

A sequined head band held' the bride's illusion veil. She carried a of white chrysanthemums and carnations. Mrs. Barbara Higbee was matron of honor and Miss Mary Lund, bridesmaid. They wore ballerina frocks of-chiffon over net and taffeta and matching headpieces.

Mrs. Higbee's costume I was rose and Miss Lund's bronze. They carried bronze and white pompons. Wendy Olson was flower girl and Larry Wilke, ring bearer. Roger Hareid served as best man; Paul Hyland, groomsman; Henry Strickert and Donald land, ushers.

Zino-pads Theater to Show Films of Famed Ballet "The Bolshoi Ballet," which stars prima ballerina Galina Ula- nova, will have its first American public performance at the Jeffris Tlieater here Wednesday, Oct. 15.

The attraction was filmed in London during the premiere performance before Queen Elizabeth. By means of a multi- camera method designed by director Paul Czinner, the full theatrical impact of a live ballet performance has been captured in color. The Bolshoi Ballet group of Moscow made its historic visit to the Royal. Opera House, Covent Garden, in London last year. Under Czinner's direction, the motion picture production will offer audiences the first opportunity to witness a complete evening of ballet almost exactly as per formed for generations in the huge Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.

Mme. Ulanova dances "Giselle" in a complete two-act version of the famed ballet, and also performs "The Dying Swan." In addition there are dance selections, the Dance of the Tartars from "The Fountain of Bakchisaai;" Spanish Dance from "Le Lac des Cygnes;" Spring Water, Polonaise and Cracovienne from "Ivan Su- sanin," and "Walpurgisnacht" from "Faust." The orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Yuri Faier and G. Rozhdestvensky, are heard in the film. For several years the couples have made a foliage tour to the Estrold Lodge operated by former Janesville residents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gessert. In the group, were Messrs. and Mmes.

David Gessert, with their baby daughter Pamela, joined the house party. The Dave Gesserts recently moved from Wausau to Rice Lake. Harold and Esther Gessert are now living in the first level of the multilevel home which they are building near the lodge. They have completed another building which will house a gift shop and crafts center. Mr.

and Mrs. Sidney Rouse, 1706 Elida are back in town after a motor trip to California. In Covina they visited their nephew Edward Peters and wife. He is a former Milwaukee resident. The couple drove out on Highway 30 and returned on 66, making many stops at scenic points of interest.

After several days in northern Wisconsin Mr, and Mrs, A. C. Goessling, 1207 Columbus Circle, returned home Saturday. They stayed at Forest Lodge on High Lake near Boulder Junction. Despite a few.snow flurries in South Dakota the weather was perfect for motoring.

Mr, and Mrs, R. W. HoUiday, 1514 Bennett got home Saturday from a trip that included the Badlands, Black Hills and Sheridan, Wyo. In Sheridan they were guests of Mr. and Mrs, Joseph Franklin.

Mrs. HoUiday and Mrs. Franklin, the former Barbara Harris, were girlhood friends in Lima. Door County, with an area of 478 square miles and 250 miles of scenic shoreline, is again ready to present its annual Fall Color Showing. Visitors to Door County will see autumn colors at the peak from Oct.

11 to Oct. 26. Having two state parks composed of 4,700 on the waters of Sturgeon Bay and Peninsula on Green Bay makes Door County a paradise for camera fans. Hotels, resorts, motels and cottages are open for the Fall Showing. On their annual trip to Glassco, Mr.

and Mrs. Earl Taylor, 549 Bostwick found his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Taylor, getting along just fine considering that they are both past 80.

The Taylors returned Saturday evening. They stopped in Fort Pierre, S.D., Mrs. Taylor 's home town, where they visited her sister, Mrs. Carl Wagner, and brother, Leslie Stroup. They were interested in the Oahe Dam which was recently built over the Missouri River at Fort Pierre.

Peter's Catholic Church, Beloit. The bride is a'1955 graduate of Janesville High School. She wore a gown of peau de soie and lace and a lace edged veil held by a crown of seed pearls. White chrysanthemums and carnations were in her bouquet. Honor attendant was Miss Rita Weeks and bridesmaids.

Miss Judy Moore, the bride's sister, Mrs. Bruce Winchester. Their emerald iridescent taffeta frocks were completed with emerald headbands studded with rhinestones. They carried yellow and gold chrysanthemums. Deborah Moore and Jeannie Nelson were flower girls and Paul Cannell was ring bearer.

Harold Andrews was best man; Donald Moore and James Hutter, groomsmen. Breakfast was served the, immediate families and bridal party at the Corral, and a reception-dance was held at South Beloit Businessmen's Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Cannell will make their home at 1818 Shopiere Beloit.

The bride is employed in the engineering department of Beloit Iron Works. Mr. Cannel, a student at Rockford School of Business, is a bus driver for Rockford Public Schools. He served in the Army three years. DIAL PL 2-3674 MARRIED 57 YEARS-Mr. and Mrs. Fred Terwilliger, 203 W. Eastern will mark their 57th wedding anniversary Friday. No celebration has been planned as Mr.

Terwilliger hai been in the hospital for the past two weeks. The former Anna Arndt and Fred Terwilliger were married Oct. 10, 1901, in the home of the bride's parents in La Township. For many years Mr. Terwilliger operated a steam threshing machine outfit.

Mrs. Terwilliger is a former practical nurse. The couple's three children, Mrs. Marian Schiller, Stuart and Robert Terwilliger are deceased. They have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Carroll Hill. Pamela, born Sept. 16 in Mercy Hospital, has two brothers, Jeffrey, 3, and Michael Donald, 1. Church Circles Rural Group of Cargill Methodist Church will hold its luncheon meeting Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the church.

It was previously stated that the meeting would be held today. Hostesses will be Mmes.
