Welch Wins Prize The visit of Miss Daisy Davis to this section arounsed much interest in Scarritt College for Christian workers, the property of the M. E.

The Woman's Missionary society of Holston conference have offered a prize of $10 to the auxiliary in each of the ten districts having the largest percentage of its members present to hear Miss Davis, it was found the auxiliary at Welch is entitled to the prize In the Bluefield district. The attendance of the Welch auxiliary was 62 per cent plus. Trinity and Grace churches, of this city. ranked next, each with 63 per cent plus, although no second prize was offered.
