J. Orville Bookless, Mrs. Noble Isaacson and Mrs. Everhart Johnson were hostesses to Willing Workers group at the Methodist church parlors Friday afternoon. Scripture and prayer were followed by group and a short program.

Lunch was served by the hostesses. Mrs. W. W. Aspegren and Mrs.

George Cardwell were hostesses to Priscilla group at Amana Lutheran church parlors Wednesday afternoon. Scripture reading and prayer by the Rev. N. H. Pearson were followed by group singing.

A short program was given and the remainder of the afternoon was spent on bazaar work. A lunch was served by the hostesses. Mr. and Mrs-. "Jack" Moe, Topeka, who came for funeral services for Mrs.

Lulu Hain Saturday, spent that evening with and Mrs. Bill Moe and were overnight guests of his brother, R. G. and Mrs. Moe.

Gust Freed, Republic, was a Wednesday dinner guest of his brother, Charles and Mrs. Freed. Mr. and Mrs. Freed recently moved from Savage, after 18 years' residence there and are living in Mrs.

Mrs. Gertrude Anderson, Fairmont, Mrs. John Sjolander and Mrs. Charles Sjolander visited Mr. and Mrs.

Earl Van Aiken at Belleville Thursday. Mrs. Anderson, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. John Sjolander for a week, returned by bus to Minnesota. Otto Brand suffered a paralytic stroke on his left side at the home of his sister, Mrs.

Frank Isaacson two weeks ago. His daughter, Mrs. Mabel Sorum came from Riverside, and has taken an apartment in Belleville where she is caring for him. Miss Sadie Robison, Salina, spent the week end at her home here. Mrs.

C. J. Hugos and Gladys visiited her sister, Mrs. Selma Frankfarther at Concordia Wednesday. Mr.

and Mrs. Bill Haskins were Tuesday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Studei' at Formoso. Mr.

and Mrs. L. S. Richards were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs.

Mrs. Lee Hammer and Diane Lee, Concordia, spent the week end lv with her parents, and Mrs. I Bill Haskins. John Naslund has been ill and confined to his home the past two weeks. His condition is somewhat improved.

Lola Jean Sandell, four-year- old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sandell, underwent a ton- silectomy at the hospital at Concordia Saturday and returned home Monday. Mrs. Elmer Danielson visited her sister in the hospital at Concordia Sunday and returned home Monday.

Her condition remains about the same. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Zener spent a few days last week with her brother, Mr. and Mrs.

Vere Furnish and family at Guymon, Okla. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Danielson and Mrs. Lloyd Brown and Shirley and Mrs.

Kenneth Danielson visited Mrs. Pat Sandell, Lola Jean and Danny Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Netus Sandell were Sunday evening visitors there.
