TWO THE CORSICANA (TEXAS) DAILY SUN. THURSDAY, APRIL 17, 1952. McCarter Rites Held Thursday Funeral services for E. L. (Fate) McCarter, 72, life-long Navarro county resident, who died at his home In Navarro Tuesday night, there held Hopewell wat 2 cemetery.

Thursday at The rites were conducted by Rev. Clifford Thomason and Rev. Jack Goff. A native of the Hopewell community, he resided there until 1941 when he moved to Navarro. Surviving are his wife of Navarro; four sons, Alvin McCarter, Navarro; Charlie McCarter, Dallas; Victor McCarter, Stephenville, and Harold McCarter, Houston; four daughters, Mrs.

Rebecca Sullivan, Mrs. Ida Weaver and Mrs. Ruby Slater Potcet, all of Navarro, and Mrs. Geneva Hunt, Corsicana; a brother, Charlie Holden McCorter, Navarro; four sisters, Mrs. Tannic Grilliard, Corsicana; Mrs.

George Dockery and Mrs. Ella Swanson, both of Navarro, Mrs. Julia Statler, Houston, and other rela-' tives. Pallbearers were Henry Hood, Aaron Montgomery, M. Bailey, Roy Graham, Pat Horn and Malcolm Smith.

Buried At Rice Menko Cassell of Ferris died In a Dallas hospital Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Thursday from the First Baptist church in Ferris with burial in the Rice cemetery. The rites were conducted by Rev.
