Devine spent his vacation this week here with ;his parents, the William B. Leo C, Schumacher will attend the Golden Jubilee observance of a sister, Sister M. Elect?. r O."S. F., Perpetual Adoration Convent, LaCrosse, Wis., on Saturday. Father Blase, Anadarko, Okla., brother of Father Schumacher and Sister M. The Joe Sinnwells and 'Harold Redings attended the state democratic convention in DesMoines Friday and Saturday. The Sinn- wells remained till Sunday 'to visit their 'daughter : Connie Sinn- well. Mrs. Bob Anderson, Shawn, Amy and Marc, Ashland, O., are visitors Avith Mrs. Anderson's parents, the ( Orville Wagners, Mary and Barbara. Enroute Mrs. Anderson-and.family were Tuesday guests with her sister, the Lee Nepoles, Iowa City. Mrs. John Thul had her 500 club Wednesday with Mrs. Eugene Thul as a guest. Receiving prizes were Mrs. Eugene Thul, Mrs. Tony Becker, and Mrs. Joe SinnweU. Mrs. Tony Becker has the club Jujy 7. Susie Naber, Spirit Lake, was guest at Peter Bormann's this week while the Rt. Rev. Msgr. George Theobald was on a northern Minnesota fishing trio. Msgr. Theobald, a former pastor here, is retired and June 26 will have his golden jubilee in St. Mary's church, Mapleton. with a mass of thanksgiving at 11 o'clock. The John R. Caoesiuses and Bernard Streits, with the Daryl Bakers, Ljvermore, left Sunday for a fishing trip in northern Minnesota.
