Blome, 73 of Ledyard, were icld Tuesday at the Bethany Evangelical and Reformed church in Ledyard. Rev. Victor Vriesen officiated and burial was in the Highland Home cemetery at Ledyard. Mr. Blome died at his home Saturday. He was born Feb. 4, 1893 at Hubbard, Iowa and came to Led yard while still a small boy. He was married to Pauline Bran o at Ledyard on Oct. 24, 1917 anu they farmed near Ledyard foi many years, until retiring in 19 58. They continued to live 01 their farm, however. Survivors include his wife and two sons: Arlo of Swea City anc Eugene of San Diego, Calif There is also one brother, Clar ence of Ledyard, and four sis ters. Alma Klinksiek, Ledyard Nora Meyer, Lakota; Clara Ken nely, Clear Lake; and Ella Westerland, Bricelyn, Minn. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and three great-grand- hildren.
