Miss Teresa Patrick, Bill Bush, Thomas, James and William Gibson slopped in at the Gibsons the day after Christmas long enough to sample a few left-overs and for Bill to try out Kathy's new drums. James Lusty is on the sick list and several other of the DCR hands should be the way they are snorting and carrying on. Coach John Barfleld apent Sunday with the Giibson boys, Doug, John and Ed. Mr. and Mrs.

J. C. "Hoot" Gibson attended funeral services for John Madison Sr. Sunday. Hoot Gibson helped with the Masonic funeral services for Jim Jordan earlier in the week.

Due to the short time the film could be kept, many folks were disappointed. It will be a television show so others will 'be able to see it.

May Diet In SS Hospital Benjamin Cliftoh May, 87, died at a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, in San Saiba Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. Funeral services were held at ,2 p.m. Saturday, Jan.

9, in Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. L. White ahd the Rev. Albert Burial was in City Cemetery with Masonic rites. Pallbearers included Lloyd Smith, Silas Siiiitii, Reu- beh Sehterfitt, B.

B. Christian, Wilson George Walker, Claude Golden and Ernest Brown, Howell-Doran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. A retired Texaco Consignee and rancher, May was born July 30, 1883, In Burleson county, the son of W. E. May and Sally Newcomb May.

He came to San iSaba county at an early age and resided here most of 'his life. He married Kattylee Henry Bourlan Sept. 9, 1933, in Oklahoma. He was a Mason and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs.

W. 0. Gross of Waco and Mrs. L. E.

Martin of San Antonio; a step-son, Thomas C. Bourlan of Evansville, Ir.d.; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Cunningham, Mrs. Eunice Praitt and Miss Julia May, all of Houston; several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Rites Held For Luther Barber Services for Luther T.

Barber, 68, of 2027 Walnut, San Angelo, were held at 10 ajm. Thursday, Jan. 7, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rerv. Dr. Joe Cooper of St.

Mark's iPresbyterian Church officiating. Burial was in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, there. Barber died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in Shannon Hospital.

He was born Aug. 31, 1902, in Pontotoc and was married to Eula Wright in 1926 at Eldorado. They moved to San Angelo from Eldorado in 1941. He was an accountant and was employed Jones-Hayes-Sanders and Co. since June 1, 1963.

He was a member of St. Mark's Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, Bobby Barker of San Angelo; a 'brother, Leon 'Barber of Cherokee; a sister, Mrs. Delma Carter of Arlington; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs.
