THE THANK YOU' BANK Who's Supposed To Say Thanks? Library Acquires New Teen Books By Richard Willey Cashier Fanners and Merchants Bank BEAUTY SECRET? Refills .25 par lash. 964 W. State Sycamore PHONE 895-5256 DEE rl if I SOME FOLKS still think that bankers always wear stuffed shirts (and long faces) and we really can't blame them because the wrong idea of a banker as somebody to be saluted is largely our fault. We never meant to give you that idea but we do admit that it probably came about due to our being a little lame in explaining exactly what a banker does. A banker sells money.

That's what he does. 1 So when you go to a banker for a loan, you're in the driver's seat. You don't have to go in with your hat in your hand any more than you'd go into any other store, to buy anything else. And when you get your loan, a real banker will thank YOU (rather than expecting you to thank HIM). Selling money.

That's banking. DEKALB A number of new books recently have been acquired by the DeKalb Public Library for the Teen Department. All titles were chosen with the interests of the teenage reader in mind.
