JUTS Cfii i NT Wanted By Jim Walsh The Arizona Republic A 22-year-old Mesa woman was found strangled in her apartment Monday night after her parents alerted police that she had not showed up for work or answered her door. Susan Amy Morse was found lying on her bed by Mesa police, who said she initially appeared to be asleep.

Dr. George Uolduc of the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office concluded Tuesday that she had been strangled. Sgt. Mike Hayes, a Mesa police spokesman, said Morse's body was found on her bed at 6:45 p.m. Monday after she failed to report to work at 3 p.m.

Police were called to the large "apartment complex at 1362 S. Vineyard, near Country Club Drive and '-Southern Avenue, by Morse's parents I "after she failed to answer her door. At the urging of her parents, -William and Tilly Morse of Mesa, a maintenance man used a pass key to 'open her door and saw her on her bed, Hayes said. "There were furniture items that had obviously been moved, indicating that there had been a struggle," he said. "At this point, there is no evidence to substantiate that she was 'sexually assaulted." Police obtained evidence inside the apartment that may eventually prove helpful to the investigation, but they have no suspects or a motive for the INVOICE NO.
